I was fortunate enough to test and review this product for free thanks to ChickAdvisor and Vichy. I have been using this in the morning and at night for the past 3 weeks. It smells great and there has been no irritation to my skin but I have not noticed any difference so far. I like that it is more affordable than other serums. It is also light and has an even texture. The pump also makes it more sanitary and easy to use, so I appreciate that! -

This eyeshadow palette reminds me of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. It has many neutral shades and I see myself being able to use all of the colours. This palette comes with 18 shimmery colours and I wish that it came with at least a few matte colours. Initial pigmentation is great but it does not last all day. Be sure to carry this in your makeup bag along with your makeup brushes for a mid-day touch up. I did notice that it took more time and effort to blend the colours together, but for a budget eyeshadow palette, this is great to play with for beginners. Unfortunately, what really disappointed me was the strenght of the eyeshadows since it can easily break and fall apart. In fact, one of the shades crumbled into pieces after I did a light swatch. A few days later, another colour broke into pieces after simply picking the palette up in my drawer and placing it somewhere else. -

The Burt’s Bee Rejuvenating Lip Balm is a 100% natural lip balm that contains vitamins A, C, D and E, as well as Omega oils. It is very moisturizing, non greasy and is not sticky. It tastes great and I think that I have found my new go-to lip balm. I have been applying this before putting on lipstick and right before going to bed and I feel that it has done a very good job at keeping my lips moist. With other brands, I am constantly re-applying lip balm throughout the day. However, with Burt’s Bee, I don’t feel the need to apply as frequently. It is a a little bit more pricier than ChapStick or Blistex, but I think that the quality is worth it, especially since it takes quite a while to use up a entire lip balm. Burt’s Bee does not test on animals which is a big bonus for me. I saw that they have started carrying tinted lip balms which will definitely be on my next purchase list. -

This body lotion smells devine! I’m not usually a fan of shea butter, but the Jergens Shea Butter provides a nice warm scent. I have used other lotions from Jergens and felt that they were very watery in consistency but was pleasantly surprised when I noticed how think this lotion is. It is a bit oily and does take time to dry, but for those with really dry skin like me, it’s totally worth it. I used this 8 ml sample to apply on my legs and arms after a shower and before jumping into bed and woke up with incredibly smooth skin that lasted all day.I’m really impressed with Jergens Shea Butter and will be purchasing this for sure. -

It is a genius idea to have stick on “nail polish” for those who do not like to apply nail polish themselves. Unfortunately, this was a complete fail for me since I have very short nails which made it difficult for me to manipulate the stickers and for it to actually stick on my nails. I also feel that instructions are not very clear. I had to YouTube tutorials to properly use this. Also, packaging needs to be improved. Peeling off the 3 packages with the nail strips can be challenging. You definitely need the wooden stick that comes with it to open the package. The grey strips used to peel off the nail stickers were often very difficult to get a proper grip. I also found it difficult to separate the French tips. Needless to say, it took me about an hour per hand the first time I tried it. Retailing at approx. $10 a kit, this is quite the splurge considering it is only for one time use. While it is still cheaper than getting a French manicure done at the salon, I recommend that this kit include 2 applications. This way, there is room for trial and error. Despite all of my struggles, the end result was nice and my nails looked like they were professionally done. I can’t say if they last long because I had to remove them right away since I messed up my right hand and had no extra stickers to correct myself. I think that this would be much easier to apply for those with long nails. -

I have been using the Aussie Sprunch Hair Spray for multiple use. When my hair is up, I spray a little on top to hide my baby hair. I have even been using this on flat hair to hide fly aways. However, I think that this works best when you are trying to style curls. It definitely helps hold up my curls and a few sprays will leave my hair frizz free. The scent is refreshing and makes day 2 hair smell like I’ve been washed my hair. -

My husband is not the type that would usually apply lotion on a daily basis so I was surprised to see that he has been applying this every night after his shower. The spray lotion is great for those who are lazy or for those who are on the go. The spray can get a little messy so I would recommend spraying the lotion in the shower otherwise you could get small specks of particles around the room. While my husband said that it did not keep his body moisturized for 24 hours, he did feel that his skin was not as dry. Since the spray lotion is a much quicker alternative than the typical body lotion, this did not bother him. We also both enjoyed the fresh scent. The spray lotion gives a cooling sensation and it is a great way to stay moisturized and feel fresh at the same time. -

It is a strong black tea and does not need to be steeped for a long time to get the desired colour. While it smells great, this tea has a lingering aftertaste. In my opinion, this had a metal or raisin aftertaste which made it very hard for me to drink. Yorkshire Gold still remains my favourite black tea on the market. -

Although it is a tad sweeter and has a crunchier texture, it is a great alternative chocolate if you are craving the signature Ferrero Rocher chocolate. -

St-Hubert’s Chicken Noodle Soup Mix can be ready in minutes. Unlike canned soup or Campbell’s Everyday Gourmet soups, these comes in small packs and is very portable. You can easily put this in a purse. All you need to do is add 3 cups of water and let it boil. While the chicken taste was these, this soup mix was very disappointing. I did not like that the noodles are tiny and there are no chicken bits. You literally only have small pieces of noodles that are the size of a rice grain mixed in chicken stock. I recommend getting the St-Hubert’s soup cans since you get a better value for your money. -
