Yum! Who doesn't love a bit of Korean BBQ? This spice captures that essence of it, with such a nice little kick of heat. I've been using it as a marinade for beef, and serving it together with some organic veggies and some spicy kimchi. It makes for a super tasty dinner that is more definitely Korean-inspired.
The package contains enough spice for several meals. And it is resealable--and it will actually stay closed. It has a nifty velcro-like closure that doesn't get clogged by the spices. I love it! Seriously, it is so handy.
This is a really tasty spice blend with just a hint of heat, and it will help you create some fabulous Asian-inspired dishes with very little effort.

We love to mix protein and rice in our home, and I'm always looking for a new way to spice it up. The Knorr Shichimi Togarashi spice mix is the perfect blend of Japanese-inspired spices and heat. It mixes well with fish and beef, giving meat and veggie dishes a nice kick.
I've been using this blend as a meat marinade. I mix it with a bit of oil and allow the meat to rest in the mixture for about 30 minutes. The result is meat fully infused with a nice spicy kick.
I also really, really love that the bag is resealable. Like, really resealable. It has a neat velcro-like top that doesn't get clogged up by the spice mix, so it continues to seal again and again. It's a small thing, but it makes a huge difference.

Although labelled as a apricot scrub, this is actually a walnut shell scrub with apricot fruit extract. Walnut shell is very harsh on sensitive skin and it will damage the skin if used every day. The scrub does exfoliate very well, but I found it to be far, far to strong to use on my skin.
I have used this scrub off and on for many, many years and I it was only recently that I clued in that it was what was causing skin issues for me. Once I dropped it and replaced it with a much more gentle exfoliant my skin improved enormously.

I really like the idea of a shake that is just 160 calories with 30g of protein and only 1g of sugar. It provides me with a great boost of energy and also helps make me feel full. Unfortunately, it contains both sucralose and acesulfame potassium, two different artificial sweeteners that taste extremely bitter to me. They have a terrible aftertaste and make my stomach feel upset after drinking the shake. I cannot recommend these shakes to anyone who doesn't like the taste of artificial sweeteners. #gotitfree -

I really like the idea of this protein drink. For just 160 calories I can boost my energy back up after a workout, or get a little bit of a boost before starting if I'm already feeling tired. I also really love that it contains 30g of protein, so it makes me feel full. Unfortunately, the drink just tastes super weird to me. I'm one of those people who find artificial sweeteners to be extremely bitter, and this chocolate shake contains sucralose and acesulfame potassium, both of which taste awful to me and upset my stomach. Because of that, I can't recommend these shakes to anyone else who doesn't like these artificial sweeteners. -

The colours are awesome (and there is an app that you can use to test drive them on your photo). I've found that it will come off a bit if I drink something within about 30 minutes of applying, but if I let it set for a little while it lasts really well. -

I love this lotion! It is the only thing that keeps my completely unruly curls look nice and tame. I add about a loonie sized amount to my washed and brushed hair, fluff it up, and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then I gently blow dry by hair and watch my fabulous curls plump up and look great.
On hot and humid days I sometimes need to add a little extra to my hair to keep it look good, but overall this lotion does an amazing job on its own. It is just what my long, very fine, curly hair needs to look its best.

I usually prefer to use use a BB cream or a face powder rather than a heavier foundation, but I was looking for something to provide a bit more coverage for special events. I'm pretty impressed with how well it works. It feels super light, stays all day (with the use of a good primer), and the colour range is really good.
This goes on really nicely, without streaking or looking cakey. It sets almost right away, and I haven't found that it oxidizes. (My shade is Porcelain.) It blends really nicely, so you aren't left with a weird line at the edge of your makeup.
I'm also happy that it doesn't seem to be causes any issues with my skin. I have slightly oily, very sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts, which is why I tend to avoid heavy foundations. But, I haven't experienced any problems.
I also really like the pump bottle, although that will make it a bit difficult to get all the makeup out of the container.
My only issue with it is the price. But, given the quality and the fact that I don't use it every day makes it a little better for me.

This is the mascara I was sold when I went into Sephora asking for a mascara that wasn't going to smudge. I was told it would stay put all day. Sadly, it does not. If I don't monitor my makeup all day I end up looking like a raccoon! To make matters worse, it is a huge pain to take this off at the end of the day. I have to use makeup remover twice, and then wash with makeup remover soap, and it still doesn't all come off. Super frustrating!
I'm also pretty disappointed by how clumpy this mascara is. The brush was great the first time I applied it, but ever time since it has just been covered in big clumps.
I'll be going back to my old favourite drug store brand. It smudges too, but at least it is easier to remove and it costs way less.

This is by far my favourite perfume. It is the perfect blending of jasmine, amber, and a slightly woodsy scent. It is mysterious and a little sultry, but also perfectly fine to wear to the office or when picking up the kids from school. A little bit goes a long way, though, and I also find that the scent sticks around all day.
When you make your purchase, be on the lookout of the refillable bottles. You can then buy an ecno-refill and fill it up again yourself, or you can take it to a store with a Mugler source and have them fill it up for you. The bottles are so pretty so it is nice to be able to reuse it again and again.
