I received this sweet free gift with purchase at The Face Shop one week ago and have been using the products routinely, morning and night. The free gifts came in a very nicely packaged box labelled Raspberry Roots Special Set and it includes: 2 Collagen Eye Patches, Sleeping Mask and a De-puffing Eye Gel.
Firstly, I'd like to say I love The Face Shop for all of it's free gifts and samples, also I love the natural ingredients they use- great for sensitive skin!
As described on the back of the box, the Collagen Eye Patches are "water soluble hydrogel with Chitosen, wild Himalayan Raspberry Roots and Aqua Collagen optimizes elasticity, soothes and throughly hydrates eye area."
I used one set of the eye patches after cleansing and toning my face, before going to bed, and instantly felt the cooling sensation and it was very relaxing. The directions say to leave the patches on for 30-40 minutes, which I did. Upon removing the patches, I noticed my eyes significantly less puffy looking and they just felt cooler and looked brighter. I don't really have wrinkles but I do have dehydrated skin around the eyes that is more noticeable when I wear makeup. I feel like the patches helped with hydrating the eye area. I would re purchase the eye masks to use only on special occasions when I need my eyes to look big and bright!
The next product I used from the set was the sleeping mask which came in a 30 ml tube (pretty good for a free gift)! I used this mask after the eye patches. I squeezed a dime size amount out every night for the last week and notice that my skin has visibly smaller pores and the over all texture is more smooth. The directions say to spread the product evenly on the face avoiding the eyes and lips and wash with warm water the following morning. I have noticed that the product glides onto my skin very easily and it has a gel like texture with a pink colour and an amazingly refreshing fragrance similar to raspberry. I will definitely go back to purchase the full size bottle of this sleeping mask.
Lastly, the de-puffing eye gel! This came in a 10 ml tube. In the mornings, after cleansing and toning my skin, I use less than a pea sized amount under each eye and gently tap and massage it into my under eye area. I can instantly feeling a cooling sensation and I feel like my eyes are waking up! I think this is because the ingredients listed for this eye gel include caffeine! I love the way this product easily absorbs into my skin and does not leave an oily residue ensuring that my makeup will go on smoothly and stay matte. This eye gel not only helps with de puffing, it also cools and soothes swollen eyes in the morning and helps to hydrate the eye area. I love this eye gel and will definitely purchase the full sized tube.

I use this foundation when I don't want to use my more expensive foundations from Stila or Dior. This foundation is not too bad in terms of coverage, it does seem to mask scars and imperfections. However, with my oily skin type, I find that this foundation tends to make my skin look way too shiny within a few short hours of applying it. When I set the foundation with a little translucent powder, it does seem to stay slightly matte for longer. Overall, this is not the best foundation for oily skin, but the coverage is great for someone who doesn't mind the shine. -
