We tried the SUKU Vitamins Kids Greens Multi+ Gummies, made right here in Canada and available on Well.ca. They’re clean, sugar free, sugar alcohol free, and plant based and an easy way to add greens and nutrients to a busy morning. With 52 ingredients packed into each Watermelon Lime gummy, they’ve become part of our breakfast routine.
He’s not wild about the taste (he’s more of a berry/cocoa kid), but pairing them with a sip of juice helps, and the individually packaged gummies make them perfect for grab and go mornings. What a hard gig. I was “tasked” with getting to try the new FERRERO ROCHER assorted hazelnut chocolate squares in Milk, Dark, and White. It’s really hard to choose a top flavour. They are all melt in your mouth smoothness filled with crunchy crispies, roasted hazelnuts, and creamy filling. These are perfect for a sweet treat on any occasion. Easy to go elegantly packaged individual pieces.
The Milk Hazlenut is usually my go to and tastes exactly like a classic Ferrero Rocher ball but flattened into a square, white is a nice twist on the Milk and still high-quality flavour, and the Dark is still creamy enough not to be bitter/dark as its rich and deeply chocolatey but the hazelnut flavour is more subtle. Enough in each pack that you could have just one, but also worth trying one of each. Just treat them with care as they could easily break/melt.
I encourage you to indulge and try them all to delight your senses! Perfect at work on a gloomy day afternoon pick me up!

Goldy’s Protein+ Instant Superseed Oatmeal Maple Crunch has officially become my weekday breakfast shortcut. The texture is hearty without being heavy, and the maple flavour is warm and natural and sweet enough to feel comforting, but not artificial. It’s sweet and satisfying enough that even the kids are on board.
What I love most is the nutrition-to-effort ratio. One bowl gives you protein, fibre, and healthy fats in seconds, and it actually keeps you full. The added supersedes (chia, hemp, pumpkin) give a gentle crunch that makes it feel more like a real meal than a packet of instant oats. And those Canadian oats, plant-based protein, and natural
sweetness from date powder means no added sugar and simple ingredients.
I find I need a little extra milk (use high protein milk for even more protein) than is required as I tend to add to it including other nuts/seeds, fruit, cottage cheese. Definitely let it cool a bit, will burn your tongue!!
It’s quick, its filling, and it doesn’t taste like cardboard! Which is honestly all I ask of a weekday breakfast. Bonus points for the protein boost that keeps you from raiding the snack drawer an hour later. I prepare mine in a glass mason jar and pop it in my bag for breakfast at work and have some packets on hand in my desk drawer. It’s also quick and painless for those rushed mornings, busy weekends, or on the go snacks/meals.

I’ve recently had the opportunity to try L’Occitane Shea Nail & Cuticle Oil and I have to say this has quickly become a game changer for me. The skin around my nails have been so troublesome with this dreary winter weather. So easy to apply. Love the squeeze brush applicator. Rubs in well. A little goes a long way. At first I thought it can leave a little greasy residue so give it time to soak in before you start touching things. But after a couple more uses, I think I was overapplying as it does absorb fast, and it doesn’t leave my fingers feeling oily, which is huge. My cuticles look healthier and less ragged, especially after a few days of regular use. I like that the scent is very light and clean. Aromatic. A gentle floral or fresh oil smell. You notice it, but it doesn’t linger and it’s not overpowering. It’s one of those small, easy steps that actually makes a visible difference. It’s a small step that makes a big difference, especially in colder weather

I was pleasantly surprised by these jackfruit chips. They’re really light and crispy, with a subtle natural sweetness that doesn’t feel overpowering. The bag smells a little funky when you open it (no fault to the brand, I think it’s just the “jacked” fruit), but get passed that, dive in, and it’s a mouth party. They have a fun, crunchy texture but then melt in your mouth. It is almost like freeze dried, but likely more dehydrated texture. Great flavour. A perfect snack for on the go, a post-workout snack, healthy munching at work, or relaxing at home. I like that they don’t taste artificial or overly oily like some fruit chips can. ONLY TWO INGREDIENTS!
Nam Fruits Crispy Jackfruit Chips are made with only two simple ingredients: real jackfruit and coconut oil. Lightly crunchy with a naturally sweet, as well as non-GMO, gluten-free, and made with no artificial colours or flavours added. That's a win in my book.
