There is nothing like that not so often moment when the counters are clean, the house is quiet, and I can pretend, just for a second, that I’m the kind of person who has her ish together. Enter this hand soap, my tiny taste of luxury before the kids burst through the door like unhinged zombies or grocery-goblins.
The scent? Delightful! Fresh, airy and clean. Foams and lathers like a champ. Easy to wash off with no residue after leaving my hands feeling great. After I washed my hands, I kept catching little surprise wafts of fancy ocean scents all afternoon. At one point I thought to myself, “Wow, something smells amazing,” and IT WAS ME. My hands. My own hands
This soap has become one of those small rituals that remind me to pause, breathe, and appreciate the quiet pockets of the day. It’s funny how these tiny rituals become our accidental moments of calm. I’m usually sprinting through the day, struggling to cross off all my to-do lists, barely noticing the things that keep me sane.
Anyway, 10/10 for making me feel like a serene coastal goddess for 12 seconds before real life resumed. Do not delay adding this to your shopping list immediately! Bonus points for it being made without parabens or phthalates, so its good for your skin but also good for all of us as its made from 100% collected + recycled plastic (PCR)!

I enjoyed the Rio Mare Insalatissime Corn and Light Tuna Salad as a great for on-the-go snack/meal, post-workout fuel, or a quick meal when you just don’t feel like prepping. For me it’s the convenience without compromising on taste, quality, or nutrition! The Tuna Couscous was packed with chickpeas, peas and tomatoes for a tasty flavour combination. These are surprisingly elevated for a canned tuna meal (I’m used to tuna-and-mayo combo, so this felt like a step up). I found them light and the tuna isn’t heavy or oily, plus the different veggie combos add a nice sweetness that balances it out. They have a good texture mix with firmer tuna pieces than I expected so it doesn’t feel mushy. Seasoning is mild but pleasant. I like how they are super easy to eat straight from the can. Not necessarily something I’d crave, but definitely not bad. A solid option when I want something quick and a bit more “put together” than my usual tuna routine. I am always on the hunt for easy ready-meals rich in protein and carbohydrates, as a smart easy choice for a quick, simple, easy balanced high protein content and nutritious ingredients, making it a smart choice!

I enjoyed the Rio Mare Insalatissime Corn and Light Tuna Salad as a great for on-the-go snack/meal, post-workout fuel, or a quick meal when you just don’t feel like prepping. For me it’s the convenience without compromising on taste, quality, or nutrition! The Tuna and Sweet corn nicely combined the tuna perfectly with the sweetness of corn, the baby carrots and peas. These are surprisingly elevated for a canned tuna meal (I’m used to tuna-and-mayo combo, so this felt like a step up). First off: it’s popped in 100% avocado oil, which instantly makes me feel like I’m making a smarter choice even when I’m absolutely not behaving like someone who “just wants a light snack.” It’s got that clean, crisp taste, none of that heavy, greasy film you get with some other popcorns.
Second: this stuff is dangerously easy to eat anywhere. In the car? Yup. At your desk? Absolutely. Sneaking a handful while hiding from your kids in the pantry? Obviously. It’s a grab and go situation that fits into real life, not just the curated Instagram version. Eating the whole bag while watching a movie after a long long long week? Who ME!?
And the flavour? It’s bold dill pickle that’s punchy, tangy, and SO addictive. If you’re a pickle person, this is your Super Bowl. If you’re not…this might convert you. Bonus Canadian points!!
Final verdict: A better for you snack that tastes like a treat, travels like a champ, and delivers dill pickle flavour with full confidence. I’d buy it again without hesitation, AND hide a bag from my family (but mostly me) because it gets inhaled!!

Buff Buckaroos Little Bison Snack Sticks have officially become one of those snacks that just fits into our day without trying too hard. They are that perfect “grab it and go” protein hit and super easy for busy days: toss them in a work bag, bring them on an outdoor adventure, or add them to a backyard charcuterie board. Most importantly they taste great!
What I love most is how clean they are (all natural, nitrate free, gluten free, high quality bison protein).
They taste leaner and way less fatty and taste clean rather than greasy with a slightly richer, sweeter, smokey meat flavour. The casing isn’t hard or tough, and they are firmer and have a tighter bite.
They’re easy, they’re tasty, and are one of those snacks that actually keep you full. Plus, I’ve started spotting BUFF at local grocers and markets, which makes it even better. I love supporting Canadian brands that deliver.

I’m not a huge hot sauce user, but this one was more flavorful with a kick. I’ve used it on many of my Trini husband’s meals and he has been very impressed (a man of the Caribbean and used to spice and season)! More favour and taste than spice which is so nice! Bursting with juicy pineapple flavor and a slow-building heat that keeps things interesting! It’s perfect for seafood, grilled meats, tacos, rice bowls, or anything that could use a tropical kick (included spaghetti LOL). She starts smooth, then she surprises you. Love that it’s local and handcrafted in Toronto, Ontario.

These Plantropylife Jack’D Up Sour Cream & Onion crispy protein bites snap! They’re cholesterol free, high in fibre, zero trans fat, and free of soy, gluten, sugar, and sulphites… basically the glow up version of a chip. The Sour Cream & Onion flavour stole my heart immediately. The seasoning is spot on, the crunch is perfect, and the extra protein is a yes from me.
Overall:
• Perfect crunchy bite
• Great seasoning
• Way healthier than regular chips
• Easy for snacking, work treats, or on the go
• Even our kiddo approved
One thing to note: the bags are VERY sealed. Great for freshness, but I nearly popped an eyeball trying to open one. Keep scissors handy. They are resealable… not that they lasted long enough to need it.
Hopefully they make it to stores for easier snacking, but for now still able to grab them on Plantropy’s website with free delivery, and you can mix & match flavours to build your perfect box.
