I am generally not a fan of facial skin care scrubs and was pleasantly surprised at the gentleness of the Vichy Purete Thermal Skin Renewal Creamy Scrub. I have used this scrub weekly for 3 weeks now and it is gentle, mildly exfoliating (with environmentally friendly ingredients) and deep cleansing on my skin. I love the feeling of smoothness and radiance after using - now part of my weekly routine! -

I really enjoyed using the Vichy Purete Thermale Fresh Cleansing Gel - this is a Vichy product that I have not used before this opportunity. It did a wonderful job on my skin of cleansing - without feeling any dryness. I was very impressed with it's effectiveness when I did the cotton pad test after cleansing with my usual micellar water. Skin felt fresh and invigorated too! -

The Vichy Purete Thermale Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover worked amazingly well on my waterproof mascara, brow products and liner. It didn't take much pressure or rubbing with a cotton facial pad for removal which is great for lash care. It has a very pleasant but not overwhelming scent and you don't have to use much product for effective removal either - a total thumbs up from me! -

As promised ~ Finally had a chance to swatch the Sleek MakeUp Solstice Highlighting Palette. I've shown the shades top to bottom. I did use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Light underneath but didn't bother with foundation as I wanted to see the product on natural skin for photo purposes. Here's a few thoughts:

Ecliptic Cream Highlighter is heavily pigmented and goes on super smooth with an almost bronze tinted base. Wasn't sure if I'd like working with a cream highlight but it's superb!

Hemisphere is a pinky / lilac coloured shimmer powder that's a little lighter pigmentation wise but totally buildable.

Subsolar is a fabulous silky highlight powder with yellow tones and probably my least favourite of the palette but only because of my skin colouring ~ as on us olive toned girls it looks more silver.

Equinox is a light iridescent but metallic, highly pigmented & swirled baked taupe ~ nude ~ beige powder (think #Colourpop #Churro!) which has so many uses and probably my fave if I had to pick one!
Amazing value and such a versatile, cruelty free palette that you can use for everything from face highlighting, to strobing, body shimmer and contour, brow bone highlights, eyes and more! About $28 Canadian ~ Love it

NYX Cosmetics has come up with an amazingly priced, long lasting, shine controlling but water based setting spray ~ Matte Finish! I found it very lightweight with actual stay all day strength ~ even in warmer humid weather where my skin has a tendency to get really shiny by day's end. As a devotee of UD's De-Slick Setting Spray I can honestly say the NYX Matte Finish gives very comparable results yet comes in under $11 ~ which is simply Brilliant! -
