I definitely enjoyed using the Finish Veil. Not only did it provide a matte finish, it actually lasted all day (I didn't have to touch up once). Mind you, I have dry/combination skin and you would think "cake face"... nope, the finish was very...   +

I definitely enjoyed using the Finish Veil. Not only did it provide a matte finish, it actually lasted all day (I didn't have to touch up once). Mind you, I have dry/combination skin and you would think "cake face"... nope, the finish was very natural.

I tried it without foundation; very subtle coverage, great for those quick pick me ups and out the door thing
With foundation: the Veil did not feel like it was adding weight to my face... plus my pores actually looked smaller :)

The packaging is like any standard pressed powder; great mirror but the sponge can be improved. Use it with a large powder brush and colour will blend in more consistently.

The only thing misleading is the shade. I opted for a medium and it was actually lighter than my skin. My advice: go a shade darker, especially with the approach of warm weather.    -
