"Renuzit® Adjustables are easy to use. Simply adjust the cone height to release the right amount of fragrance to banish odors and leave behind a clean, refreshing scent."
This statement straight from the website is completely true. Very easy to use and handle and the scent is nothing short of awesome. I saw these guys (the Winter/Holiday scents) in Walmart and picked up a few to smell, my favourite being the Winter Berry, so for $1, I figured why not? We also bought an Apple Cinnamon (which smells nice as well)
When I got home we put one in my room and shut my door as we often do and to probably get a stronger scent. Not long later I stepped into my room and the smell was amazing. Every single time for the next few hours when I entered my room the huge delicious scent hit me and I kept talking about how great it was.
Now a day later and a door not closed all day, you can still smell the berry scent, it's not overpowering but just right and stronger it seems in certain areas closer to the cone I guess.
For $1 these are great and I definitely want to try some of their other scents. Also packaging is biodegradable!

I have come to prefer liquid eyeliner to most other forms (gel, etc) and love other products from Annabelle so I decided to give this one a go.
For a small package this product still lasts quite a bit of time. In fact the website claims that "The small tapered tube gives up as much as 830 applications!"
It has a felt-like tip as the website says and I agree with the claim that it is precise. It is also very easy to handle. I find that it lasts me all day and still looks good and I don't normally feel like I need to reapply it later or fix spots because it stays on pretty well
I would most definitely recommend this to someone else, especially those who prefer a liquid eyeliner or are looking to try one. It's a beauty must for someone in that case. It's small, you get a ton of application out of it and you get a great product at a great price!

The Goody Spin Pin claims to help you achieve simple easy hair styles (i.e buns), with just 2 spin pins. Just one of these pins does the work of 20 bobby pins (as per Goodys claim).
You can purchase a package of 2 spin pins for roughly $6-8 and in a few different colours to better match your hair colour (in order to camouflage them in your hair!). They also now have mini spin pins (which comes as a pack of 3)!
I bought a pack of the normal size spin pins in a lighter colour since I have pretty much medium brown hair (and don't care if the colour shows a bit). Personally I didn't look over the styles they suggest too much and just played with it a bit myself. They are very easy to get used to and simple to handle/use.
When I use these my hair feels secure in place, whether I'm doing a looser style or something a bit tighter. I usually probably won't have to redo the sytle a couple times throughout the day to make sure its what I want (though I do it anyway sometimes). My hair is just past shoulder length and a bit thick and I don't find much trouble keeping my hair in place with these, my sister who has short thicker curlier hair also likes these guys.
At first I hesitated because of the price (I like a bargain!) but now I'm definitely okay with the price because they work and you will not need to keep buying these over and over. Hair ties and bobby pins can hurt, feel uncomfortable and also break and you wont't really have those problems with the spin pin! I definitely suggest this for the girl who wants to change up her look easily now and then.

Goody Ouchless Hair Elastics are perfect if you want a great elastic band that will last. I wanted something not too thick or thin without any metal and these were perfect. They were about 7 or 8 dollars (for a pack of 62..or 64) which is more than I usually spend on hairties but it was definitely worth it.
My hair is just past medium length and thick and often times hair elastics will feel like they are pulling on my hair or just hurt my head in general and these don't. My sister, who also has thick hair (and curly) also loves these elastics and she's a bit pickier when it comes to elastics because many thinner ones will snap. Your hair is secure and as the name states, they are ouchless!
Another great thing about these guys is that not only can you get mini versions but they also come in an assortment of colours, from basic black and whites, to pastels, to bright pinks and oranges, so there is always a variety!

I got this product to test out which was great in itself but to actually be really pleased with the result is even better.
This make up remover is for sensitive face and eyes. It's gentle and suitable for contact lens wearers as well. It is hypoallergenic, ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested. The remover is also fragrance, paraben, alcohol and colorant free. It also has a pH similar to tears!
Just pour some remover on a cotton pad and gently wipe face, eyes and lips until your make up is fully removed. (The website even says you don't have to rinse your face but I prefer to).
My sister and I were both pleased with this product. It removed my make up pretty easily without all that much effort and was definitely gentle and never felt harsh.
The only con I have to comment on is the price since its about $16 for a 200ml bottle. That's a personal preference but if you are fine with that price then I fully recommend it (although I recommend it anyway)

I tried out the Very Black colour and it definitely made my eyelashes look darker than ever. My lashes looked long (but not spider leg-ish), there could have been a little bit more separation and spacing of lashes but it really wasn't that bad and I thought my lashes looked good. It was generally easy to use and control though it may feel a bit awkward at first. I do wish I didn't have to hold down the vibrating button and rather I could just click it on and then click it to turn it off (like some razors), that would probably make things a little easier but oh well. When removing the wand from the tube I didn't get a glob of product coming out with the brush (as it sometimes does with other products) which was nice. The removal of it was also pretty simple which is always a plus.
Probably one of the only cons is the price. Now I got it for free at an event that I went to not knowing the price, now I found out its about $20 CAD, now I like the product but I just don't think I'd ever pay that much for a mascara, but that's just personal. Other than that I was pleased with the results.

The Stroke of Gorgeous eyeliner by Hard Candy is one of their newest products. In fact, on the website it says that this product will come out in September 2011, but my Walmart had it in stock already (along with their other new products). Anyway this new eyeliner is in the form of a felt tip pen and comes in 3 colours, black, teal and purple.
I bought the teal colour which is called "Nautical", well the colour shown on the display was more green the actual colour of the eyeliner. The real colour is closer to the colour of the pens packaging so I suggest you expect that colour and not the colour shown on the displays. Makes sense? I hope so.
Anyway, it's very easy to use and control since it is like a felt tip marker and it glides on pretty smooth. The colour payoff is pretty decent. I applied it about midday and still had colour past midnight, not as intense but I didn't reapply and touch it up at all either. This product is waterproof as well.
Overall it is a decent eyeliner for the price and I just might try another colour down the road. If you are able to test it before buying (my store has no tester of it) you can always try that to get an idea of the intensity and colour.
When I swatch it on my hand I am sometimes more satisfied with the colour than on my actual upper lash line and it was fading abit by the end of the day but overall I like it for a pop of colour now and then.
Another thing to note is that Hard Candy does not test on animals!
Also the website claims that this product " is infused with our Growth Serum to promote long term growth" (lash growth)

This product has a fine, tapered brush applicator and the size is 0.14 oz / 4 g. I have this product in 3 different colours after buying one and winning two. They are "Kryptonite", "Plutonium" and "Disco Inferno" (this last one was a special edition that is no longer available I believe).
They all go on nicely and evenly hey only part I wasn't 100% happy with was that I hoped it dried faster, but otherwise I liked them. They look good both on their own or on top of black eyeliner (I suggest Annabelle Liquid Eyeliner in Black out).
The colours are quite pretty too.
As for the ones I have...
Kryptonite- This one is a great green colour (see photo, thought I think in the photo it looks a little dull in comparison).
Plutonium- This one is silver but depending on how they light hits some parts sparkle brighter and may even catch another colour, to me it sometimes looks like there's a hint of purple and green.
Disco Inferno- Great colour, it looks mostly purple but also has a mix of silver and blue and maybe even some green depending on how the light reflects it.
Wear it by itself for a light pretty look during the day or over black eyeliner for a pretty look for the night out!

So after trying Montagne Jeunesse for the first time after getting a freebie of it I went out and bought a bunch of face masques and a peel from their line. On the whole I'm pretty pleased with them. They smell great and seem to do a good job and all at a good price (under $2! at most stores).
So here's a little information on THIS product.
It is "BAUV Approved" and "Vegetarian Standard".
It is "Deep Exfoliating & Ultra Cleansing"
Also an important note "Looks and smells delicious but please DON'T EAT" ;P
Alrightie, on to it. The package says to cleanse, massage, relax 5-10 minutes and rinse.
After cleansing I opened the packet and immediately I could smell the delicious mango and apricot scent. I put some on my fingers and the texture was kind of thick and creamy and there was small crushed apricot kernels in it. I smoothed it on, messaged and followed the rest of the directions. I left it on for 10 minutes until it was 'hard' (I usually leave it on for the later time).
While washing it it came off generally easy and my pores were looking clearer and like alll that junk was comin' right out! Once I got everything off of my face and looked in the mirror my face looked brighter so to say and smoother. It also definitely felt smoother at the touch and softer. Maybe even a bit tighter. Overall it just feels better that it has all week.
Take a little me time, relax and use something from the Montagne Jeunesse line to feel a little better and more relaxed!
Have fun!
