Aloette is a company that specializes in creating products out of natural ingredients and having a base of Aloe in their skin care line. The cosmetics are amazing and my favourite is their eyeshadow. I have very sensitive skin and when I use eyeshadow, I find that my eyes are very irritated and it feels like there are tiny pieces of metal stuck to my eyelids. This eyeshadow goes on so easily and feels so light. There is no irritation when I'm wearing it and the colours are bright - you only need to apply a very small amount. Deffinately worth looking into for people with sensitive skin! -

The Aloette restorative enzyme peel is so awesome. A small amount of gel is applied to your face and then you massage all over. As you rub the product it starts balling up because it is removing the deadskin from your face. After rinsing with water, my skin looks so amazing and looks clear and healthy. The company recommends using this product once a week, but it does such a great job that it could be done every other week. This product is like an apricot scrub, mineral mask and pore refining mask all in one and is done in under 3 minutes! AWESOME! The price seems high ($24.95 per jar) but it lasts for such a long time and replaces a bunch of products. -

My experience at Elixir has been nothing but fantastic every time! I started going there to get my legs and bikini line waxed about 2 years ago and had a no iritation afterwards (unlike most other places). It depends on who does the treatment though; the best person is Tsering! Very gentle and professional. I've also had manicures, facials, and body treatments at Elixir. My favourite facial is the green tea and jasmine facial - I have sensitive skin and this facial always leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and clean. Manicures are done well and last a long time (over a week instead of 3 days). Cuticles are trimmed nicely and I have had no issues with someone cutting me like in other places or having hang-nails 3 days after. Lastly, their body treatments are wonderful and relaxing.
WIth repsect to some posters saying that the place is small or dirty - I have never seen Elixir anything but meticulously spotless and who cares if it's small... You are laying down on a bed the whole time in a dimly lit room with music playing having a relaxing treatment. It's not like you're hosting all of your friends to a dinner and dancing party in the treatment rooms lol...
