I have both the Kat Von D Shade and Light and the Anastasia Beverley Hills Contour Kit, so I was excited to try a drugstore contour product. The grey undertones contour color is perfect for my skin tone and I use the darker colors for adding extreme definition or eye colors. The highlight is insanely shimmery, and not something I use on a super regular basis, but it's nice. I never use the orange color, but I haven't in the KVD kit either. All in all a great dupe option -

About 9 months ago, I changed all of my skin care to Laneige, but had started with the Sleeping Mask. It's perfect for summer or anyone who has really dry skin. It sinks into skin immediately and although it's a touch sticky, it's not overwhelmingly so. It plumps lines, and leaves my skin so soft and supple every morning. -

So when colour correcting was the big trend, instead of going the easy route and buying a couple of sticks or tubes of things I might really need, I went all out and got this palette because it was half price. True to form, the colour correctors do their job well, and the concealers work, plus there is a hefty variety of shades. What I don't care for about the product is the heaviness of the concealers: you really have to work to blend them out, and they can look very cakey if not done right. So if you're considering it, wait until it's on sale to make the leap. -

I'm pretty brand particular...if I like a brands something, I tend to stick to that brand for that product. Nars is my blush brand. I have a number of single and duo blushes and 5 multiple sticks. South Beach is my personal favourite. It has the slightest hint of shimmer, and the formula in these blends so easily. If I'm going for a dewy, bronzed look...this is without a doubt what I reach for as a blush colour. Amazing product! -

I don't care for people who say certain makeup tones are better in certain seasons...if I want to wear a cranberry smokey eye in the middle of summer, I'm going to! Morphe's products consistently get better and better and this palette is no exception. The reddish/cranberry/coppery tones are beautiful. The reason I gave it 4.5 rather than 5 is I often have to revert to another palette for transition colors, and I find I almost always have to wet the shimmer shadows to get a good sheen. But for the price, it's an amazing palette. Morphe's quality to price cannot be beat, in my opinion. -

I'll start off by saying that previous to purchasing this Glow Kit, I had already bought 4 others. I was reading reviews and people were saying this kit was chalky, too glittery etc. Usually I just order products online from Sephora because I get free shipping so I skipped this kit altogether, as I was favoring the similar but cream formula Sephora 6 pan highlighter palette. Then I was in an actual Sephora store one day and was surprised to see the Glow Kit available. Curiosity got the better of me and I went to swatch it. I was blown away. First of all, this kit is way more buttery than the others. Yes, the pan sizes are smaller but you get six colours rather than four. They compliment a variety of skin tones and are perfect for inner corner and brow highlights as well. Love this kit! -
Aveeno Active Naturals Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion
I didn't buy this for the "stress relieving" qualities but rather because I wanted a new moisturizer. I love Aveeno products because of the oat formula base. It's a very non greasy formula, sinks in fast, and the scent isn't too overpowering.
