One of the things I love most about Peace Out Skincare is their no nonsense formulas. They're just straight to the point. What do we all want in our routine? RETINOL. Just give me the stuff that WORKS, and POS really really gets that.
In testing this particular product, I didn't see jaw dropping results, but it's also summer time and though im trying so hard not to ADD to my wrinkles, the sun doth make me squint like crazy, and so it's a constant battle to keep them at bay. I do also like to get a bit of colour on my skin in summer so I haven't used this religiously, because I know how sensitive your skin is to UV after application. Anyway, all of this is to say the application is amazing. I just love being able to gently swipe it across my face and be done with it. I do tend to lean towards a liquid retinol, just because I like the idea of *knowing* I've covered my entire face and neck area. With the stick it's kind of hard to monitor that. Overall though, I love the innovation and I love the brand, so I will likely be sticking with them in the future!

Retinol is a STAPLE in my routine. I googled skincare as soon as I hit 33 (lol) and retinol is of course at the top of the list for things that *actually* work in this competitive, vanity driven market where everyone wants their skin to stay forever young. So this EYE stick. I have not seen very many retinol products targeted for the eye- my assumption until now was that retinol is not a great thing to get IN your eyes, and to be honest it is still the case, even after trying this stuff. Don't go overboard or you'll spend all night with watery irritated eyes. If you use it sparingly, and don't rub it INTO your eyes, you should be fine. I don't have any pronounced aging in my eye area, and the laugh lines are here to stay, but I have gotten plenty of compliments on my skin being glowy and whatnot since using this product, so ill consider that a win! I enjoyed the ease of use, I enjoy the plain and simple ingredients, I just really don't enjoy getting retinol in my eyes, haha. User error. -

For that reason, and that reason alone, I don't dig this one. I really like the formula! But I would rather go for the clear version than the colour. Even objectively looking at the colour, I'm not a fan of the shade itself. Oh well! -

I'm a huge believer in serums! Especially with the science that has been devoted to targeting ingredients that effectively reverse the signs of aging and damage. This stuff seems legitimate- if not for immediate results, for the fact that it burned a cut I had on my finger when applying it! I'm interested to see the long term effects, but immediately, I can't see I saw much of a difference (I don't have a large amount of dark spots to begin with though). The smell is also FUNKY, which is fine... as long as it works haha. -
Breyers Creamery Style Natural Vanilla Frozen Dessert
Breyers is an incredible ice cream. I love how creamy it is. The only reason why I would stray from their brand is if something is on sale. Their vanilla is my favourite! I love that you can actually see specks of vanilla.

There is NOTHING wrong with a Breyers ice cream. They are so creamy, you can absolutely taste the quality. HOWEVER. I am a huge fan of butter tarts. I love them, so very much. And this ice cream cannot hold a candle to the buttery goodness of such a tart. I almost would have preferred if they attempted a pecan tart, because then at least there would be more substance. To me, this just tastes like caramel with some crunchy bits. Nope. Not my favourite!

It is such a bummer that I can't enjoy the product as intended (with CBD infusion). I am not a regular cannabis user but I would certainly be curious to experience this drink in it's true form. That being said, the flavour is awesome. If you enjoy a lighter taste (think vitamin water), then this drink is for you. I absolutely would purchase this for a summer BBQ or to simply enjoy on a hot day. I look forward to purchasing the product and seeing what I think of the CBD infused version! -

I'm a huge fan of light coverage- I don't want to hide my natural beauty, I want to enhance it! This product helps me do that. I applied with a beauty blender and it worked perfectly. It blended in nicely and actually did a great job of smoothing out my pores, which is usually an issue for me. The colour was hard to match for me, but once I put all products on (blush bronzer etc) it wasn't so noticeable. I would definitely recommend giving this a go! -
