I have very sensitive combination skin (dry but produces tons of oil) and I found these wipes to be a bit harsh for my skin. Where regular micellar water applied with a washable, re-useable cotton pad is gentle and almost soothing, these felt a little rough and astringent. They did remove most of my makeup, but my skin was very red after using them. I also do not like the scent, it is a bit overpowering and gives the feeling of applying harsh chemicals to my face. Overall, I found this product too harsh for my skin and there are more environmentally friendly ways to remove makeup. -

I was really excited to trying the Neutrogena Skin Balancing Gentle Clay Cleanser. I love that it has polyhydroxy acid (PHA), a great ingredient for exfoliating and deep cleaning skin, but other aspects of the cleanser were lacking. My skin produces lots of oil, but is also really dry (the worst), and this cleanser sucked every last drop of moisture out of my skin. It left me feeling dry and tight and subsequently my skin responded by producing even more oil and becoming oilier than ever. I don't feel that clay is an ingredient that should be used in an everyday cleanser, as it is harsh and drying. Stripping back the ingredients and creating a gentle, moisture-replenishing cleanser with PHA would likely work better. Overall, this product is just too harsh, stripping, and drying. -

I really love the lime scent of this deodorant, it’s so light and natural, like cutting into a fresh lime. I have been trying to transition to natural deodorants over the past year and this one has kept me smelling great all day, even after sweaty workouts. One note is that it’s definitely important to follow the product directions of holding the deodorant on your skin for a moment to soften it before applying it, otherwise it can be a bit scratchy and leave residue. Overall, this is a pretty great natural deodorant and is especially good for those looking to transition to natural deodorants for the first time. -

When I purchased this concealer, I was so excited as I love ELF and it was being lauded as an inexpensive dupe for Shape Tape. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. I really, really didn't like this concealer. It dries down SO quickly, I barely had time to lay it down on one eye and buff it out before it had dried completely and unevenly. It also dries cakey on my skin, settling into fine lines under my eye and making me look dry and wrinkly. And, the coverage was average at best. I love and use so many ELF products, but this is a HARD PASS for me. -

After seeing this foundation recommended by a number of beauty bloggers, I decided to give it a try, as it was so well-regarded and half the price of my high-end foundation. On the first wear, I was HOOKED. I have acne-prone, combination skin, with redness, oily areas and dry patches. This foundation has medium-to-full coverage and lays down BEAUTIFULLY on my skin, creating a smooth, natural finish without looking cakey or showing any imperfections. It does not oxidize and wears all day long (10-16 hours) with no touchups. As long as L'Oreal makes this foundation, I will never buy anything else. HIGHLY recommend!!! -

I received the Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Lipstick in shade 24Seven in a subscription box. Normally I don't love liquid lipsticks, as I find that they settle into fine lines around my lips and dry my lips out. BUT, this liquid lipstick by Coloured Raine is AMAZING! It goes on smooth and dries down to a beautiful finish without drying my lips out. It lasts well, even through light eating and drinking and applying more doesn't affect the smooth finish. I am amazed I found a liquid lipstick I like, I highly recommend this! -

This bathroom cleaner is incredible. Scrubbing Bubbles is the only thing that I will use to clean my bathtub and shower. Even if I go an extra week between bathroom cleanings, Scrubbing Bubbles powers through build-up on my tub and tiles and all I have do is spray it on, wait a couple of minutes, and then wipe it off. No scrubbing required, as Scrubbing Bubbles does all the work for you. I LOVE this product. -

I first bought this setting spray when I ran out of my usual high-end go-to. I couldn't get to a boutique to replace my high-end spray, so I grabbed the NYX Dewy Setting Spray to tide me over. Well, I have now been buying the NXY Dewy Setting Spray for over a year with no intention of shelling out for my high-end brand again. At less than 1/3 of the price, this NYX spray outperforms my old high-end spray, making my skin look dewy and natural while locking in my makeup for an impressive all-day flawless look. I can't recommend this enough! -
