I have been in love with Dove soaps from the first time I've used one. It lathers into a nice milky foam, cleans perfectly, and doesn't strip my skin or leave it dry. I have also used them on my face in my college days, and they worked like charm (I've never had better skin than back then). Unscented version is my favorites one, since I hate layering too many difefrent scents (soap, shower gel, body lotion etc). -

The towelettes are sized generously, and one is always enough for me to remove all my make-up and and clean my face. They are also really durable, and don’t stretch or break. Although they are meant for all skin types, they felt drying, and I needed to use a heavy moisturizer after them. Also, I would have liked it better if they were a bit more moist. All in all, I liked them enough to use them again if I stumble upon them, but not enough to go and buy them. -

So, I was suddenly out of sunscreen, and since I am using acid peels and retinol regularly, I had to have some. I grabbed this one while getting groceries, since it sounded good – who wouldn’t want a dry finish. Seems like all the brands are suddenly coming out with dry finish formulas.
The sunscreen is quite thick, but creamy, and it’s very easy to blend it in. I’ve been using it on my face and neck, and so far had no burns, even when I was in the sun all day.
It is definitely NOT moisturizing at all – I used it once without my regular face moisturizer, and my cheeks got totally dry, so much that the surface started peeling. If you do the usual routine: moisturize, wait a bit, then put on sunscreen, you should be fine.
Good thing is that my T-zone, which does get oily in the sun, didn’t get oily and shiny under this sunscreen.
All in all, for a drugstore sunscreen, I’d say this one is not bad at all.

I received the Covergirl Katy Kat Matte Lipstick in Maroon Meow from another site for free to try and review.
My first impression while applying it was how nicely it glides over lips. Just as advertised, there was no dragging. I did the blot and second coat thing, and the final result was this creamy, not completely matte, but not too shiny either, finish. The level of shiny to matte was perfect for me.
Compared to other lipsticks that have matte finish, this is not as matte, but the upside is that it is not drying on the lips (it contains shea butter). It wasn’t extremely long-wearing, but not bad either (read: I had to re-apply after eating).
The color I chose is a bit bold, better for evening wear for me, and maybe just a bit more purple than I’d like for a maroon lipstick. It stained my lips a bit. I actually liked this, because if you just add a layer of clear lip balm over removed lipstick, it gives you this nice, natural look.
The packaging is a bit big for my taste, but the white cover has this rubbery finish that I liked. 3/5 for packaging.

I chose this one, unscented, since I don't like to have a range of different scents mixing on my skin (moisturizer, perfume, etc). This deodorant really has no noticeable scent. It was gentle on my skin, and actually lasted most of the day. -

It tastes average, but it's ok to keep around for a quick pick me up (black teas have lots of theine, which is actually caffeine). Anyways, it's good for the price, and convenient to get in my grocery store, but I keep other, better quality black teas in my pantry, too. -
