This mascara has all the features I'm looking in one, and for a great price. The slightly curved brush lifts and curls my lashes so well, they don't touch the inside of my sunglasses like it happens with some other mascaras. It also adds lots of length. The fluid inside is perfect - not too think, not too thin, so it coats the lashes well with ZERO clumps, which is rare. This is why it's easy to build up for a more dramatic effect, but here I'm just wearing one coat. It adds a good amount of length, too. Some mascaras have too much fluid on the brush when I just start using a brand new one, but not this one. The tube is made well, so it removes any excess. And it truly is waterproof, which is a blessing during a heat wave. -

I tried different brands of facial cleaning devices, and so far this one is my favourite one. I love that it's made of silicone and waterproof, so I can use it in the shower and also wash it well between uses. I can add cleansers to it for a deep clean, but I would avoid any scrub/cleanser combos. It has 4 settings and it's easy to shuffle through them. The two massage settings are what I didn't have with my other cleansing devices. I also like that it's rechargeable, so there are no batteries to waste.
The reasons I gave it 4 stars are: the charging station is not upright, so it takes more counter space, and it only comes with a USB plug, so I had to provide my own plug to plug it into the electrical outlet. I also HATE the packaging, it's that thin flexible plastic that is hard and dangerous to open (it can easily cut skin), and pretty much non-recyclable.

My daughter is a big fan of Gabby's dollhouse, and as soon as she saw this over she started jumping around. It's a nice addition to our mini kitchen. The oven comes with a cookie sheet and a few baked goods. I personally didn't love that some parts are made of paper, because they won't last with a three year old, and they don't stay on top of plastic parts well (the frosting slips off of the doughnut for example). The oven has two buttons, the bottom one turns the light on and off, the top one makes sounds, phrases or songs when turned. The light is great, but the sounds are loud and there is no volume setting. If the sounds are turned off, the light doesn't work either (of course), so this is a bit of a let down. Even my daughter finds it loud. But it's a fun toy to play with even without the sounds and lights. -

I shave and wax regularly, and for years now I've been getting ingrown hairs a lot, courtesy of dry skin. This Parissa Ingrown Rescue Kit contains everything I would need to care for my skin after shaving (or epilation), including a soap, an exfoliating sponge and a body oil. The soap contains pharmaceutical grade tea tree oil to cleans and kill bacteria which can cause redness and infection. The scent is pretty strong, and tea tree isn't my favourite essential oil, but the soap is gentle and works well, so I'll use it. The second step is a konjac sponge infused with finely ground walnut shells. I'm a big fan of exfoliation, and it's a step I can't skip because of how dry my skin is. I was a bit scared the sponge would be too harsh, but it isn't. The sponge itself is soft, and the walnut shells give the right amount or exfoliation without scraping the skin. This is my favourite part of the set. The last step is the soothing oil. The oil smells nice and sinks into the skin quite quickly. I love that the mini bottle has a spray applicator. However, it's tiny. I applied it on my legs once and it's more than half gone. Overall, it's nice to have everything in one set, but this is something that can be fairly easy to assemble on my own. I may buy it again because I loved the sponge and sometimes it's nice to have a full set when I'm too busy to build a routine on my own. Everything in the set is nice and I can recommend it. -

I received this product only a few days ago, so I only got to try it out once. Let's call this my first impressions review. I have dry skin and because of that I started getting fine lines and wrinkles early. This retinol face skin is so easy to use. I started using it on my forehead and sides of my noses, and I'll expand to the whole face over time. I didn't experience any sensitivity or redness upon application, but I did feel slight tingling, very manageable. After an hour my forehead got itchy, but again, manageable. It's easy to apply, glides well over skin and doesn't tug. I love that I don't get my hands dirty. I do need to note that it's greasy, but since it should be applied at night this is not an issue for me. -

I received this product only a few days ago, so I only got to try it out once. Let's call this my first impressions review. I have dry skin and because of that I started getting fine lines early, especially around my eyes. I was looking for a retinol eye cream or serum for this area, but I was a little bit afraid to try one. This retinol eye stick completely exceeded my expectations. I didn't experience any sensitivity, redness or even tingling upon application. It's easy to apply, glides well over skin and doesn't tug. I love that I don't get my hands dirty. I'll continue using it with hope that it'll help with my fine lines, melasma and milia around eyes. I do need to note that it's greasy, but since it should be applied at night this is not an issue for me. -

My daughter loves watching Gabby's dollhouse and singing the theme song, so this toy had to be a hit, and it is. The Gabby's Dollhouse Craft-a-riffic Gabby Girl playset comes with a fun and well sized Gabby girl, a Baby Box Cat figure, a small pad with a water reveal label, a brush and a cup, a smock for Gabby and three activity sheets. The doll has articulated arms that move in the shoulder in every direction, which is fun, but the legs can only be moved together. The box cat can only move one arm, which I personally find odd. But my daughter loves them both, so I guess that's great. The mini pad with the cup and brush is an extra activity that my daughter uses separately from this playset, so we got a 2-in-1 toy here (and a happy mum). I find the activity sheets pretty useless. Overall the playset has enough parts for the price. My box says it's only available at Walmart, but a quick search online shows it's not available even there yet, so it may be coming soon. The recommended age is 3+ and I'd say that's spot on! Our Gabby decided to draw some daisies outside - check out the photo! -

We were lucky to be chosen by Familyrated to test and review a few Spinmaster toys for free. They sent us three Gabby's Dollhouse, surprise blind mini figures, and we were lucky enough to get three different figures. The figures are quite cute, and each comes with its own stand. We don't like that the toys come out of the stand easily, especially the Kitty Fairy (the pink one), but without the stand they can't stand 😂 Long story short, I'll have to glue them in to avoid tantrums. The little houses are nice as storage, but don't provide much when it comes to playing. It would be nice if they could open in front. They'll probably be used to build a "city" eventually. My daughter is very into pretend play and people, so these are perfect for her and will get used, but they could've been made a bit better.
.
Please note, these toys are rated 3+ because the figurines are quite small and a definite choking hazard. So, regardless of your child's age, if they're still putting things into their mouth, this won't be a good choice for them.
