This suncreen is amazing! It glides on easily, does NOT smell like a sunscreen but has a pleasant citrus smell. It provides an SPF of 30, but you don't feel like you're wearing sunscreen. It dries so quickly and doesn't leave you feeling sticky! My favorite part is that it has patent-pending Carotenoids! The main ingredient in most sunscreens protecting skin from damage is Avobenzone. However, Avobenzone begins breaking down within an hour of sun exposure. Thus, the recommendation to reapply frequently, which the majority of people either do not do or don't do often enough. Soooo, here's the kicker: you apply a sunscreen with a high SPF, but it stops working long before 2-3 hours!!

By choosing a sunscreen with Carotenoids, it will provide all day protection! Carotenoids are algae with antioxidant properties that become more powerful when exposed to UV light. It acts like sunglasses that darken in UV light. So, with carotenoids, the sunscreen actually gets stronger & stronger with UV exposure rather than breaking down. The Carotenoids stabilize the avobenzone for effective UVA protection...sort of like putting up an umbrella over the avobenzone so it won't break down and will keep on doing it's job. It's truly amazing advanced technology and, living in the south, I need it. You will still need to re-apply after sweating, swimming or drying off with a towel.    -
