If you have a child that loves dinosaurs and/or surprises (like "blind box" toys), they will love the Hatching Hybrids from Spin Master! The best part is the hatching is an interactive experience where you inject the DNA and then watch as the baby dino hatches. Little ones will find it magical and older kids, like my 12 year old, will probably be amazed and curious how it works! My son said the baby dinosaur was so cute and was excited to see which one he got. It's pretty easy to do and not super messy though you would want to supervise little kids as there are bits of shell and "slime" from the hatching experience! This is also a cute affordable gift. If your child is dino crazy and wants a more interactive toy, there are bigger Hatchers available too with a dino you can "train". My son also really loved the Hybrid Hatcher because he can display him on his desk. I can't wait to see all the creative toys Spin Master will come out with next. -

My family received the Tame and Train Toothless for free from Spinmaster and my son was so excited! He helped me write this review. Firstly, opening the box is a breeze because all you have to do is pull the cardboard tab and tear around to remove the top of the box. Next, you twist tabs on the bottom to remove Toothless from the last part of the box. There are no sharp plastic edges, twisties, or scissors required. It came ready to play which is a bonus. Don't forget to switch it from Trial Mode to On/Play mode!
My son is 12 and still loves to collect figures from his favourite movies and shows, especially if they are interactive as he likes to make his own movies by filming and editing. Toothless is PERFECT for that as he has so many interactive features like glowing eyes, noises just like in the movies, and moving wings.
There is a great element of imaginative play as well. My son said he thinks this toy would be best for 5 and up, and I agree. It isn't too complicated to learn to use, but it does require some patience and dexterity. When you first meet Toothless, he is angry and wild. You need to earn his trust by letting him sniff the fish, then quickly putting it in his mouth (this was a bit tricky at first, but he figured it out!). Next Toothless will let you pet him. He begins to trust you and has sensors that allow him to follow your movements with his head (he does not walk). Once you start to bond, he shows he is ready to fly by extending his wings and you can fly him through the air for more special sound effects and reactions! There are several sensors for touch, light, and movement, so Toothless will react to you which is so cool.
There are so many different sounds and ways he expresses his emotions (you can tell by his eye colour). You can also turn him off if you just want to display him, make your own sounds, or take him along as a quiet buddy.
We would both recommend him for any fans of dragons, How to Train Your Dragon, or animatronic toys. You don't have to know the movies, but it makes it extra special as you can act out scenes or write your own and feel like you have your own Toothless dragon friend.

This product works! Without oversharing too much, I was born with a structural issue of my kidneys that causes me to be more prone to UTIs. I follow all the recommendations for hygiene and lifestyle changes, but still struggle with it and have had to be on daily antibiotics at times in life, which has side effects. I have also taken cranberry pills in the past with mixed results. With some brands, you need to take sooo many capsules throughout the day just to make the equivalent of a glass of juice - and the juice itself is also pricey. However, this one contains the right amount for a great price! For a while I was struggling with symptoms monthly, but for the entire 4 weeks I took Cranmax, I had no symptoms. I am going to keep taking them.
Another nice thing about Cranmax is it did not upset my stomach or trigger interstitial cystitis (non-infection related bladder pain) like the juice or some extra-strength capsules have in the past.
It's important to know that you do not take this *instead* of antibiotics, but as a preventative and along with your antibiotics if you still need them. You should also consult a doctor and/or pharmacist if you take any other medications or have chronic health conditions (for me, it is safe to take with my issue).

This moisturizer makes your skin feel soft and smooth without being heavy. It also has a gentle calming effect after shaving your legs, sun exposure, or exfoliating in the shower. It's easy so apply and you don't need too much so it's a great value. -

My hair is long, fine, and mostly straight with oily roots and drier ends. I wash my hair 3x a week and use dry shampoo at least once a week, more in summer. Batiste is the top brand I've tried so I was excited to try their new product.
I'll start with the good. It smells SO nice. It doesn't leave any white residue.
Unfortunately it didn't work for me to absorb oil or make my hair look cleaner like the regular Batiste. It left a bit of a waxy texture, but that may be less noticeable for someone with thicker or curly hair. If you have DRY hair, it may be worth a try to freshen it up!
I really like the idea of a product you use at night to give it time to work. It just wasn't as effective as the regular, so I wouldn't switch.

This is by far the best of the Knorr soup cups I've tried! The flavour is amazing. It's not spicy, but surprisingly rich for an instant soup. Would it compare to fresh restaurant or homemade pho? No, but it's still delicious. It doesn't taste or smell like most instant beef soups, it seems much richer.
One tip: as soon as you add water, use a fork to stir up the seasonings at the bottom and mix into the broth. Cover, let your noodles cook for 5 minutes.
The noodle texture is perfect for me. It doesn't have a chemically taste like some ramen. A little higher on the sodium like most instant foods, but not too salty tasting.
I really like keeping these at work for days where I can't leave my desk. They are pretty filling and if you had some snacks (fruit, veggies, whatever) they are great as a fast lunch. They really warm you up in the winter too.

I have tried a couple of these new Knorr soup cups. This one has great flavour, a little spicy but not overwhelming. The flavour surprised me in a good way for being an instant soup!
One important step is after you add your water, immediately use a fork to stir up the seasonings at the bottom or you'll end up with clumps. Then put your lid on and leave it, stir it really well again. After you eat the noodles, the broth leftover gets a bit thick and sometimes grainy, so I could see some may not like that. That's not a big deal to me as most of it gets used up with the noodles.
The noodles are rice which are thought to be healthier. They are the perfect level of chewy without being too hard or too mushy. They are a little higher on the sodium side for people that need to limit that. I don't think it has an overly salty taste though.
I really like these for a quick lunch at work when I'm too busy to leave my desk!

My 8 year old was so excited to receive this Paw Patrol toy. He is at the top end of the age range for Paw Patrol fans I think, but still loves to play imaginative games. He immediately started to make movies on his Ipad using the dragon and make his own stories with the characters. He loved the "fire breathing" feature and the wing flapping action! It was easy for him to figure out how to use it.
I loved the frustration-free packaging and the safe design of the toy. This would be a great gift for any Paw Patrol or dragon fan.

This game is great. It really gets you thinking. It's especially fun with family as you can try to guess what they will answer based on knowing them, but I think playing with new friends would be a fun challenge too. It's different every time as there's lots of questions and different players add different aspects to the game. My son is only 8, but he did great. It's fun for all ages really. I think even a 5 year old and up could play with a little help. It's best suited for at least 4 players. The game comes in a funky and sturdy box. Assembly is easy (just pop out the pieces). It doesn't take up a lot of room, but provides big fun! We loved it! -

I loved the regular Hydroboost serum, but this night serum was not great for me. Unfortunately it broke me out in tiny blocked bumps on my forehead and chin, as well as whiteheads, which I think may be due to wax ingredients. For someone not acne-prone, it could work well so I'd say it's worth a try. Another problem for me was while the scent is lovely, it's just too strong, especially for night time. I wanted to love it as a thick serum moisturiser really appeals to me and I loved how soft my skin felt after using it. A more subtle amount of scent would be better and maybe a version for people with acne issues. For now I'm just using the regular Hydroboost serum under my night moisturiser and it's working great. -
