I tried the Black Truffle Hot Ranch Aioli with my homemade fries today, and I think it tastes amazing. It’s creamy, a little tangy, with a nice spicy kick, and in my opinion, the truffle flavour really stands out without being too strong.
I also added a little to my salad, and I think it makes the flavour so much better. This sauce definitely upgrades simple snacks into something that feels more special.

Compared to regular pork bacon, this one feels lighter — 85% less fat — but still flavourful and satisfying. I also like that it’s not too greasy, which makes the dish feel a lot cleaner to eat. I think it’s a great alternative if you want something that’s a bit healthier but still gives you that bacon taste.

I didn’t get around to grocery shopping yet, so for lunch I just made a quick pasta with what I had at home. These Butterball Turkey Franks were really a lifesaver.
In my opinion, they are tasty and smoky, and I like that it’s another turkey option for variety. I think it’s also a great alternative to regular franks since they are 40% lower in fat and high in protein.
They cook fast, which is what I need with two kids (and one still a baby). I will definitely keep these in the fridge for easy meals.

As we say in Indonesia, eating without sambal is like eating without salt — it just feels incomplete.
That’s why I was so excited to receive this Amma’s Malaysian Sambal from Butterly in exchange for an honest review. As someone who grew up with sambal on the table, I couldn’t wait to give this a try.
For this meal, I paired Indonesian yellow spiced chicken with rice, lalapan (fresh veggies), and sambal. It’s a typical combo in many Indonesian homes. We usually enjoy it with sayur asem (tamarind soup) too, though I skipped it this time.
I used Amma’s Malaysian Sambal as a dip, and it instantly reminded me of the sambals I grew up with. The texture is thick, and the heat is just right. Bold, balanced, and comforting. My husband liked it too. He’s not picky with sambal, but he knows when one stands out.
Made with fresh and dried chilies, garlic, and shallots, this sambal is vegan, gluten free, and all natural. There are no preservatives or shrimp paste. Just bold Southeast Asian flavor. It’s also a local product, proudly made in Ontario, Canada.
Compared to store bought sambal oelek, this one tastes fresher and more balanced. I also prefer the texture. It’s thicker and richer, not watery like most commercial versions.
While I enjoyed it here as a dip, it honestly goes well with anything — nasi goreng (fried rice), stir fries, balado, marinades, or even as a spread.

I just started using the TheraBreath Whitening Oral Rinse in Dazzling Mint, and here’s what I think so far:
Flavour: The mint is fresh but not too strong—no burning or stinging, which I love.
Whitening Results: It’s still early since I’ve only tried it once, so I’ll need more time to see any real changes.
Packaging: I like the simple and clean look. The bottle is easy to hold and pour, which makes it mess-free.
Overall Experience: I really like that it’s alcohol-free. I have sensitive teeth, and this didn’t cause any discomfort. My mouth felt clean and my breath stayed fresh.
I’m excited to keep using it and see how well it works over time!

One of my favorite parts is how leak-proof it is, no spills even when the bottle gets tossed around during our busy outdoor activities. Super practical for keeping little ones hydrated without the mess.
The only small downside is the adhesive from the label — it was sticking too strong, I had to use oil to clean it off completely. But overall, it’s an awesome bottle for kids on the go!

As someone with sensitive skin, I love that it’s a 100% mineral sunscreen — no harsh chemical filters, just Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide that feel gentle and soothing on my skin.
It doesn’t leave that tight or dry feeling some sunscreens do — instead, it goes on smoothly and feels comfortable all day. The fact that it’s made with aloe vera and fragrance-free is a huge plus!
I even use it on my daughter when she’s playing outside or chasing dragonflies in our backyard 🐞☀️ — I feel safe knowing it’s hypoallergenic and water-resistant up to 80 minutes.
Plus, it’s reef-safe and made without oxybenzone or octinoxate, which makes me feel even better about using it. Totally a go-to for our sunny days this season! 💙
