Review for Grown Alchemist Skin Defense Primer. I've received this product free in exchange for my honest review. This is a gel like makeup primer with lots of beneficial skin ingredients. Some include: Withania Somnifera Root Extract, which has antioxidant compounds. Ganoderma Lucidum (Mushroom) Extract, which research has also shown this extract can improve skin's supportive elements while also reducing signs of irritation. It's a natural source of vitamin D2 as well. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice. Rosemary Leaf Oil, which can help with acne and can reduce undereye bags. Bergamot Fruit Oil, helps reduce the bacteria on the skin. Copaifera Reticulata Resin Oil, which is skin nourishing. And many more nice ingredients for the skin. This primer is recommended to be used on clean dry skin. It is also said to be hydrating. What I love about this product is all the amazing beneficial skin ingredients it has. It feels calming when applying and has a slight herbal scent to it, which I find very pleasant. It melts into your skin without effort and definitely makes the skin feel hydrated. I've tried this primer without moisturizer underneath (as the instructions say to) and I've tried it with my moisturizer underneath, and it also works well. It holds my foundation in place for the day. As well as it doesn't make my makeup crease at all. I truly love this product for the formula and how nicely it performs as well as all the great skin ingredients! This is definitely my new favorite primer!

I want to start off by saying that I've been very impressed with the Aveeno "Calm and Restore" line. I've had their hand cream which is amazing as well as the PHA Exfoliating face wash. This product is also great but not suitable for my dry skin. It goes on nicely and leaves skin feeling smooth and for me- slightly hydrated. What I love about this is that it's formulated with natural sunscreens, (zinc oxcide and titanium dioxide). It provides both UVA and UVB protection. But with that comes a white cast usually because of how white the zinc is. This product is hypoallergenic, fragrance free and paraben free and is supposed to blend into all skin tones. This is suitable for sensitive skin and claims to be "lightweight". While I do find it to be lightweight, for my dry skin I don't find it moisturizing enough. My skin tone is pretty light and I still find that this leaves a slight white cast on my face. It's barely noticeable however I don't think this would work on very dark skin. It spreads nicely upon application and feels almost like a makeup primer, leaving the skin feeling smooth. I would reccomend this product for people with acne. As it light moisturizing and the zinc would help with acne. -

I get flare- ups from eczema from time to time. And in between them, my hands get really dry around my knuckles and other areas. I was quite skeptical of this product but it's quite effective in soothing my skin and keeping it very moisturized. The product is thick, unscented and has a silky feel after application. -

My skin felt really nice after using this exfoliating face wash. It didn't dry it out but rather felt a bit moisturized after use. I've only used this product 2 times as I just got it and my review is due in 3 days after receiving it. But from the 2 uses, I can say that I like how it doesn't dry your face even though it's an exfoliating wash. This didn't irritate my skin whatsoever. I really enjoyed using this. -

Lancôme Rénergie H.C.T. TRIPLE SERUM is truly a great product. What I really love about it is the fact that it has 3 beneficial ingredients, rather than this just being a one ingredient serum. That saves me from having to buy different serums with these additional ingredients. Upon application this made my skin feel silky soft and extremely hydrated. This contains hyaluronic acid, which retains moisture and aids in better absorbsion of other products. Vitamin C and the niacinamide have similar benefits but vitamin c being a mild acid- gives you more of an exfoliating and brightening effect than niacinamide. Niacinamide will help with pore size reduction. It also helps with acne as well as hyperpigmentation and enhances the skin's barrier function. The ferulic acid in here is great as an antioxidant. It protects from harmful UV rays, reduces skin inflammation, helps boost vitamin c and e in skincare as well, making them more effective. The cons to this product for me are the fact that they do not say the percentages of these ingredients and to me that is extremely important since certain ingredients work best at a certain percentage. Eg- niacinamide works best when between 2-4% -

I typically take Midol for menstrual cramps which I usually have. I've received this extra stress Tylenol and was intending to use it for occasional headaches but I've been having some menstrual cramps which were pretty bad and decided to try this instead of Midol, which is what I would usually reach for. It was very effective in receiving the cramps. It had no side effects and started working quickly after me taking it. It's good medicine to have at home for cramps, headaches or any pain. -

The wax melts pretty quickly on the lowest heat on my stove. After getting it to the right consistency (not too runny, almost honey- like), you don't have a lot of time to work with it. It starts hardening within 10 minutes or less. I really wanted to use this on my face but according to the instructions if you use retinol products, you shouldn't. So I used it on my arms. Application was very easy and surprisingly not too messy. When it got to a semi- hard consistency is when I removed it. That part was painless. After removal, my skin was red with bumps a bit and sort of felt like it was stinging. I applied the oil and while it felt nice on the skin, it didn't make the red bumps go away immediately. So in my opinion the oil is ineffective. The oil itself is not too runny and smells a bit waxy and herbal. It must be the peppermint, camomile and eucalyptus I was smelling. Overall I want to say that this product was very effective in removing my arm hair. However it's not something that I would purchase due to how irritated and bumpy my skin felt afterward. -

I received a sample of this product from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. This cleansing oil feels nice on the skin. It has 8 essential oils and sort of smells like cream. La Mer cream. My sense of smell may be off a bit right now due to a cold, but that's the scent I'm picking up. It's a good cleanser that removed my face makeup and rather heavy eye makeup. However, I do prefer other ones which I don't need to use as much of and remove makeup faster with less product. -

I was really excited to try out this mascara. It's supposed to be a primer and serum also. It has good ingredients as well, like hyaluronic acid and bamboo serum. It claims to instantly plump and volumize lashes. My biggest issue with this mascara is that the applicator is shaped in a way where it makes it pretty hard not to to smudge it onto your eyelids. Which is what I kept struggling with while using it. Other than this, it does give pretty good volume. But not as good as other mascaras I've tried. -
