I received the Hello Fresh Deodorant this week to trial. Having used various brands of natural deodorant I was hopeful this one would be a winner, but unfortunately the product did not work as effectively as I had hoped especially with the charcoal
Initially I smelled great and felt fresh, but as the day went on (4pm) I began to notice a sour smell. By evening I wanted to take a shower to smell clean again.
The product was hard to initially use due to the bottom wind being very difficult to use. Once the stick was up it went on smoothly and wasn't overly sticky which was nice. It was slightly abrasive so if I had any irritation that would be an issue. I tried the product both with unshaved and shaved armpits to see if there was a difference in effectiveness - it didn't matter and was unfortunately ineffective either way.
I gave the product an entire week and a half exclusive use just to see if my body needed to adjust but it didn't improve.
Good try Hello, I hope I am the exception to the general population :)

My children received the kinetic sand mermaid crystal playset this week and absolutely loved it. The packaging did require some extra muscle to open but the excitement of opening each portion was high! My girls loved finding the hidden jewels, the different colors of sand, and had a great time using the moulds. One highlight was the "key" that opened the chest - although I did need to help them with this! My four year old had fun playing with the kinetic sand on its own while my six year old loved the moulds. The jewels were clear, beautiful and exciting to find. Putting the sand and pieces away needed some help from me but overall a great product that has been played with more than once in our home! Thanks SpinMaster! -

I used the product as directed for the full week. Unfortunately I didn't see any improvement in my skin for fine lines or firming (in fact my skin was temperamental), however this wasn't the product's fault (hormones). What was great was that the serum moisturized my skin from morning to evening, had a pleasant scent and was not greasy. Overall I was happy with this trial, wish it could have been a longer one to see if my skin improved after it's week long issues. -

We received the Aqua Pups Chase Vehicle this afternoon and already it is a favorite with all three of my children. The kids love the shooting canons, the hatch which opens and closes and the fact that it rolls like a car. The character of Chase is a sturdy rubberized plastic which should hold up well to play. The girls had fun with a shooting competition with the canons, while the baby loved the wheels and wanted to play too (the girls took away the arrows). The toys is big enough for smaller hands but small enough to be able to play with additional toys. Overall great toy! -

I was given the opportunity to test shu uemura's ultime8 cleanser. I thought the cleanser was effective in cleaning both completely clear (no make up) skin which is my usual, as well as a full face of makeup. Cleansing makeup took the extra step of using cotton pads soaked in oil to wipe across my eyes and lips, however it rinsed clean with no residue left on my pure white towel (the ultimate test).
I liked the oil blend used, but could leave the parfum to make it even better!
The brown plastic bottle also left something to be desired as I struggled to read the ingredient list printed in thin black ink.
Overall I enjoyed using the product as it left my skin feeling and looking good with very minimal effort!

What I liked: it was not heavy and was easy to use. If I wanted to pack it, it would fit easy into my bag. The light was really nice to see what I was doing. It looks really classy. When hair was trimmed it didn't pull.
What I didn't like: despite having sparse and fine hair on my face, the trimmer took a LONG time to do a clean job. I thought the product looked beautiful but unfortunately with three young children I don't have 20 minutes to spare. It cleaned up my hair around my jawline decently, but seemed to struggle on other areas like my cheeks.

I was chosen to be a product tester for Batiste Dry Shampoo.
What I liked: it was easy to use, I was confident in going out after using it - my hair did not look greasy after use, it didn't clump up around the nozzle, there was not a lot of product over spray, it was plant based, and my little girls said my hair smelled nice!
What I wasn't too sure about: the fact it was aerosol (despite being plant based this makes it not great for me), and my husband found the scent unappealing.
Overall a useful product to use as a busy parent on a day when I need a quick brush and go!

I love that the bar has a curved teardrop shape that fits well for washing my hair! Will definitely keep this as a bathroom staple! -
