I am all about drugstore makeup because it's way more affordable than Sephora makeup but even drugstore makeup can get a bit pricey too if you're looking to save more money. Hard Candy is on the cheaper price scale of drugstore makeup so I thought I would give their concealer a go to see if I could fall in love with it and as result save some money. Right away after opening it and putting some on the back of my hand, I was off put. It smells very strongly of heavy halloween costume makeup. I figured I would still give it a shot and so I applied some to my under eyes and though it really is good coverage it's a little too heavy for me and it creased almost immediately. Overall was not worth it, no matter how good of a price it is. -

I used to bleach my hair and whenever I did this shampoo was a staple for keeping it nice and bleach blonde. Today I no longer have bleach blonde hair but I do have a lot of blonde highlights in it and I still use this shampoo to keep it from getting too brassy and orange. If you have bleach blonde hair though you have to leave it in for no more than 3 minutes I would say, otherwise you do risk tinting your hair a light purple. Other than that this shampoo is great and I love that it has the Vitamin E and Chamomile in there. Helps keep the hair fresh. -

Two years ago I started Accutane to help my acne and ever since then I have been left with very dry skin. I get a lot of random dry patches on my face so St. Ives Scrub is a staple in my daily morning routine. It is very exfoliating and gets rid of all that dangling dry skin so that after I finish with washing my face I can go start to applying my makeup and not have to worry about my foundation clinging to anything. I also love that this is a natural product and though it is a good scrub its also not too harsh on the skin. -

I have very acne prone skin so about 2 years ago I went on Accutane to help treat it. Accutane worked magic on my acne but it did leave me with very dry skin. My dermatologist recommended CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, which I had never heard of the brand before so I wasn't sure about it at first but after using up the whole mini sample she had given me, I was hooked. This cleanser really pulls all the dirty off your face but it isn't harsh on your skin at all and after you pat your face with a towel it feels moisturized. This cleanser combined with daily exfoliation, is my holy grail for maintaining a moisturized acne free face. -
