This brush has a flat top and the bristles are pretty sturdy but super soft. It comes with a case and a clear cylinder to keep the bristles in place. This brush is surprisingly (since it's a Shopper's Drug Mart product) wonderful. It really spreads foundation evenly. You probably don't need to use much because it spreads the product really well. If you keep it in the cylinder the bristles stay in place. Make sure to wash the brush, let it air dry and then put the cylinder in place.    -
