This oil is exactly like the original yet it has a subtle shimmer. It looks great with a tan,especially on legs. It’s a fine shimmer & not a glitter. I find it doesn’t last a long time & you won’t find it on your clothes or your bed linen. The oil has a lovely scent,absorbs nice & quick & keeps your skin hydrated & soft but not oily. I have put some in my hair, both types of oil,( the original & this shimmery one), b/c my hair is naturally curly & long, it’s on the dry side so I use oils on it quite a bit. I did not find either of these oils did much for my hair except to maybe tame some mild frizz on a humid day however it didn’t last long but it gave a great scent to my hair! I find it hard to get out of the bottle as you have to invert the bottle & shake the oil out of the small hole in the top so only a drop or two comes out at a time. My hair is blonde so you can’t see the shimmer. This product is great to take on holiday. Gives you a healthy glow. -

I find this lip balm is really effective in the dry Canadian winter, it’s quite thick & has a little bit of a grainy texture to it almost like honey that’s been in the cupboard a bit too long?lol. Not so bad that it is annoying & I’m not sure... +

Not so bad that it is annoying & I’m not sure if that’s typical or just the one I’ve had. It smells great & when I put it on at night I usually wake up with a little left on my lips & they’re soft. The one I bought the packaging offered a pin# to redeem free gifts with this purchase that would be mailed to you when you went online & registered the pin. Well, turned out it was only valid in France, so I emailed the company & they took my address & promised to send me some samples-still waiting & that was over a year ago! Not impressed with the company PR since it was just coming from the US. I prefer the stick lip balm just for ease of application as I hate sticking my finger in the pot, but it’s not as moisturizing. -

Bought this cream online from a department store and it was $19 for 1.5oz tube. It smells nice, but I find you have to use a fair amount just to give your hands a thin but sufficient coating of the lotion therefore it really hasn’t lasted very long at all. I usually put it on my hands at night when I get in bed so I don’t know if it comes off when you wash your hands. It doesn’t leave your hands greasy as I can apply it & then use a pen shortly after. If I use it daily, it keeps my hands/cuticles & nails softer,but then with most lotions I think it’s about upkeep & regularity. I like a lot of this companies products & I like this one, but I think it’s too costly for what you get. -

I have long naturally curly hair & have been using a moisture shampoo/conditioner combo from Aveda that I purchase from my hair dresser which costs approximately $35 each. They work well & smell great, but the cost! So when I found out about the Dove Quench Absolute, I had to give it a whirl! I didn’t get them,(shampoo & conditioner) on sale, so I found the cost to be a bit much for Dove products-approx $14 each. However, they smelled nice & the bottles/tubes are a decent size. I found that it worked really well, you don’t need much to get a good lather & it rinses clean easily. In combo with the conditioner, I found it a close second to the Aveda & significantly less cost! -

I’ve used this since it first came on the market. It’s quite thick,so a container will last a decent amount of time. It really moisturises and it keeps your skin soft for days. I have naturally curly hair & in a pinch, I’ve used it as conditioner & even put a little in my hands & scrunched in my dry hair to help tame frizz on humid days when on vacation & out of my usual products. It worked & my hair smelled great! I love the Body Shop”s principals on animal testing/products,quality,purity etc. I feel comfortable when I purchase their products that I’m getting what’s labeled & it’s safe & good for me. -

For the last 20 years I’ve been using only Lancome Bifacil to remove my eye makeup including waterproof mascara. I found it to be the only product that truly got everything off, but it was oily & left a residue even after using a cleanser & toner etc & having sensitive skin I would develop milea around my eye areas. Other products I tried were dry & I would be pulling & rubbing at my eyes & still not getting clean. I got this product when I developed an eczema on my face & although it didn’t cure it,(zinc deficiency), the way it removed all my makeup from eyes to lips to cheeks- even the stubborn stuff with little to no effort & non drying,you feel clean & no mileas! Will never use anything else! Even great when you put in the fridge in the summer & when you’ve been sweating, put some on a cotton pad & rub on your neck or décolletage & it cools,cleans & refreshes! Love it! -
