I bought this shadow in a silver and black duo to use for a show choir competition. I piled it on thick (as stage makeup should be), but I was watching some makeup tutorials and noticed a lot of the beauty gurus using what they called "shimmery eyeshadow base" (MAC paint pot). I saw how it looked on their eyelids and thought to try this eyeshadow. I applied it very lightly all over my eye and discovered that my $7 eyeshadow looked just like the MAC makeup! I use it all the time now--for going out at night, school dances, even just to spice up an everyday outfit for school. I got more than my money's worth out of this product. -

I bought these eyelashes a few weeks ago for a show choir competition, thinking they would look really thick and dramatic so they could be seen from stage. When I got home and tried them on, they didn't look exactly the way I wanted them to, but they looked a lot more natural and I decided to wear them the next day. Everyone complimented me on how long and thick my eyelashes looked--no one knew I was wearing falsies! This kit comes with lash glue and an applicator, which was much more effective than using my fingers (as I had done with other fake lashes). Using the applicator, I was able to get them much closer to my natural lash line without smearing all the glue, so I was able to use much less eyeliner than I normally would to cover it up. This is a great price for the eyelashes AND the glue--I've seen lashes that cost more, plus the cost of the glue. I also use the glue when I apply loose glitter as eyeliner--works perfectly and looks gorgeous! -

I walked into this store at the mall to return a necklace with my friend. She had a gift receipt and wanted to know how much she could exchange it for. We waited in a three-person line for over fifteen minutes for the salesperson to rudely snatch the necklace, check the price, and tell my friend (while smacking her gum in our faces) she had eight dollars to spend. She spent a few minutes picking out a different necklace and a ring, and then we got back in line. There was apparently a complicated return in front of us, but we were second in line so we stayed put. The woman making the return finished and the salesgirl went to the back for a minute. There were no other cashiers available, so we waited another ten minutes for her to come back to the front. We set the jewelry on the counter, expecting her to come check us out. Instead, she ignored us (the teenagers who had been waiting for over twenty minutes by now) and turned to the forty-something lady who walked up behind us. At this point, both of us were tired of waiting and tired of the terrible service, so we walked out (to a very rude, sarcastic "Have a nice day!"). Needless to say, I have not been back to Charlotte Russe since then. -

This is an excellent product. I have it in the brownish black color and it looks very natural--curled lashes plus this mascara equals naturally enhanced eyes. I get asked all the time if I'm wearing eye makeup or if my eyelashes naturally look like that. It doesn't clump, it's a good price, excellent color (complements my blue eyes very well), and goes really well with a day-to-night smoky eye. -

This mascara is amazing. I love it. It really does make you look like you're wearing fake lashes--except much more natural! I love Maybelline mascaras because they never clump--however, I would not recommend using this with another mascara or using multiple coats if you have thinner lashes. It ends up looking very sticklike and clumpy. Works well on the bottom lashes, too--overall, a great product! -
