Aveeno's Tone + Texture Daily Renewing Lotion promises to be helpful for rough, bumpy skin with gentle exfoliation. I really appreciate this type of exfoliation for my own skin routine. I'm always cautious of a new product because my skin can break out with some chemical-laden products. I'm happy to report that this lotion was excellent for my skin over several days of use. I love that is is paraben and fragrance free, and the addition of oats is always soothing. I'll be sure to use this product again! -
Tetley Earl Grey Vanilla Specialty Tea
I enjoy Earl Grey tea, and was happy to try and review Tetley's Early Grey Vanilla flavour. The tea brewed up great, with a subtle vanilla and bergamot scent, and the taste was satisfying too. I enjoy brewing it for afternoon tea!

I have been doing a lot of baking lately, so I was pleased to be able to try a Becel Unsalted Plant-Based Brick. It was easy to find, sold near the butter. I use a lot of butter, but do appreciate the chance to have a vegetarian alternative. I tried this in my butter-intensive sugar cookie recipe and I could not tell the difference. They had a great taste! I also tried it spread on a piece of fresh bread...yum! I'd recommend this product for those looking for an effective butter substitute. -

I was able to try Knorr Selects Vegetable Bouillon Powder. I was making my homemade veggie sausage, which requires a lively vegetable seasoning, so I decided to use it for this. I was happy with the result. The salt level is right on, and the flavour was great. The powder is very easy to use, and I love that it has no MSG and is made with no artificial flavours or colours. This product is a great option for home cooks and I'll likely buy it again. -

I had the opportunity to try Knorr Selects Vegetable Bouillon Cubes and I'm glad I did. I had a ton of zucchini in my garden and made a lovely zucchini potato soup that relies on a flavourful vegetable base. I made a double batch and used all the cubes at once. It was so perfect that I didn't have to add any seasoning to the final product. The cubes dissolved easily in the boiling soup. I love that they are MSG free with no artificial colours. I will buy these again! -

I was lucky to try Power Bar's Plant Protein Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate Flavoured snack bar from ChickAdvisor. I really liked this protein bar, and am happy that there were big pieces of peanut and pumpkin seeds. The dark chocolate bottom coating was a delicious combination, and the rice and pea protein crisps added crunch! I like to eat vegetarian as much as possible, so this bar is a good option for me. With no artificial sweeteners and non-GMO, I'll likely buy this again and recommend it to family and friends. -

I was able to try Power Bar's Plant Protein Almond, Sea Salt & Dark Chocolate Flavoured snack bar free from ChickAdvisor. Almonds are one of my go-to snacks already, and so much the better when mixed with dark chocolate, pumpkin seeds and crispy protein. The subtle salty flavour just adds that extra yum factor. I really enjoyed this bar! It was very sweet, which I loved, but actually has less sugar and more fibre per gram than my usual protein bar. All this, plus vegetarian, no artificial sweeteners, and GMO-free. I would recommend this bar to all my friends, and will likely buy it again! -

I was happy to receive Power Bar's Plant Protein Cashew, Salted Caramel & Dark Chocolate Flavoured snack bar to try for free. Even before I tasted it, I was happy to see that this is vegetarian, and non-GMO, with no artificial sweeteners. These are important for me when looking to buy a protein bar. I found this bar to be absolutely delicious, with big pieces of cashew and pumpkin seeds along with rice and pea protein crisps which added a nice crunchiness. I was thrilled to see a coating of dark chocolate along the bottom-delicious! My only concern was that though it was so yummy, it was almost overly sweet. However, I was surprised that when I compared it to my usual protein bar, that the sugars per gram were less, and there was a lot more fibre. I guess I can indulge with less guilt. I'd recommend this bar to family and friends! -

I am a big believer in good nutrition, and one of the main nutrients that I don't think we get enough of is omega-3 fatty acids. I like to take a dose every day, and recently discovered the supplement in a flavoured oil: NutraSea Omega-3 (+Vitamin D). I'm reviewing the grapefruit flavour, but there are others as well. It comes in a value size so it is surprisingly cost effective, and has 1250 mg of omega-3 per teaspoon, which is great! They've added Vitamin D 1000 IU, which I find totally convenient as I like to take that too. The grapefruit taste is awesome, and this doesn't taste fishy at all, so don't be afraid to try it! It has natural flavours, and is sweetened with monkfruit, so no artificial sweeteners. I recommend it! -

I wanted to review Clif Builder's Protein bars because they are truly the bar that I use month after month when I just can't be bothered to make lunch to take to work. I always have a box of 12 or 24 (yes, I do buy them by the box--a great value and then they are always on hand!) ready to grab and go. I like the taste, and enjoy all of the flavours, but my current favourite is Chocolate Mint. I find that compared to many protein bars, the ingredients are less artificial, there is no hydrogenated fats, and there is 20g of protein for a modest 270 kcal. I'd recommend these bars for anyone on the go who needs a meal replacement. -
