For what it is , it was not bad. It was my first trip there and I was with my husband and mother on our annual get away holiday.
My party went Thanksgiving evening, since they were have a plate dinner offering for Thanksgiving. My mother said the turkey plate dinner was not bad, but a little too much on the side items. My husband got the crab cakes and he enjoyed them immensely. I got the anti-pasta plate, and it was OK. Could have done without the cherry peppers and green olives, other than that, it really was quite a bit.(I shared with hubby and mom.)
When it came to the attitude of the wait staff, I sort of got the vibe of you are doing us a favor by being here, and that did not set well with me. But for the time my party got there, it was the perfect time to get there as it was not too full.(I think it was about 430 or so when we got there.)
So, if you are looking for a nice bite to eat, or if you are looking for a drink at the bar, Tomfooleries in Country Club Plaza will fit the bill.(Just plan to take some home since the portions are pretty sizable.)

Prydes in Westport, is a new shop that my husband actually found for my mom and I to look at this year, on our annual Thanksgiving R&R;trip.
If you are looking to overhaul your kitchen, or to pick up a new cookbook,tea, vinegar, etc.... This is the place to do it at.
Heck even if your restaurant kitchen or hotel needs some items, if you can not find it here, then you won't be able to find it anywhere else. This really is a great store for kitchen revamping and they also have some home decor items that are just fabulous. You start out up stairs, and when you hit over by the tea, that is where you can go down stairs. (I will tell you the down stairs is just as fabulous and mind blowing.)
When you walk in the door, you are greeted by the personnel of the store, and asked if they can help you. (In the winter you may get greeted with a mug of hot tea if you are fortunate to get there at the right time.)
So, when staying in Westport, pop by Prydes and check them out, you will definitely find some unique gifts that will make your recipient say , "Thank You, Oh Thank You for thinking of me."

If you are a doggie momma or doggie daddy, this is the place to bring your fur babies to pick out their treats. This is a great stop even if you do not have your fur babies with you.
The staff is great, very knowledgeable and great with their furry clients. They take pride in each item they make in their display case and the in the store.
From chicken jerky treats, to cranberry stars, and everything in between, you will definitely find something that will satisfy your pooches cravings.
The prices are really affordable, and at the holidays who doesn't want to give their fur babies the best.(It is definitely worth every penny.)
Plus if you only get there once year and you have a punch card, the card never expires so you can use it each time you come until it is full, and on your next visit, you can save on your next purchase, after you fill the card.
So, if you are in the area, and have a fur baby or two, do stop by and pick up them something they will truly enjoy. I guarantee the kisses will flow like you have never seen before after the first treat is given.

You will find colorful tins filled with popcorn galore. If you are looking for a great taste treat and it is your first time to Topsy's, try the Cinnamon Popcorn, it's bangin' .
The cinnamon popcorn is the the perfect balance of sweet, salt and heat.
Here is a great tip, get it put into a commemorative tin, and when you have finished it, clean the tin out, and the next time you go, you can take the tin to be refilled with your favorite flavor of popcorn, and take it home to enjoy, until the next time you are back.
I hope the next time you are in KC and in Country Club Plaza you will stop by Topsy's and tell the staff hi and pick up some popcorn. I guarantee you will not be disappointed , you will be happy as a clam.

Here in Tahlequah there is a standard that most pizza is measured by. That standard is Sam and Ella's. The most perfectly done pizza crust, and quality toppings make for a great experience. The smile that you are greeted with when you walk in the door make your bad day, go to good. For a mom and pop establishment, in a college town, it is a hip and happening place on the weekends.
For your first trip you might want to try the rock island red, or the arti wrap. It really is a great experience, and once you have their pizza, it will put all others to shame, and you will never go back to any of the chains guaranteed.
