I received DOVE DERMA+CARE SCALP DRYNESS & ITCH RELIEF ANTI-DANDRUFF SHAMPOO for free in exchange for my honest review. At first I thought that the shampoo wasn't bad, I didn't need a whole bunch to wash my long hair, it rinsed clean, smelled good, and I didn't see any dandruff or have an itchy scalp at all. For the first week I washed my hair daily, like I usually do, but it wasn't until the weekend that I noticed the oily hair. I don't usually get oily hair, even after skipping a day. But in the morning, even right as I woke up, my hair closest to my scalp looked greasy. Obviously this is not a good look so I tried to figure out if out was the shampoo or conditioner. When I switched shampoos I didn't have next day grease. Needless to say I will not be purchasing this shampoo. I guess if it's a trade off between dandruff and having to wash every day I'd use it, but I don't have a have a huge dandruff problem. Plus I hate that it has sulfates, I'd prefer sulfate free shampoo. Sorry Dove, I'll pass. -

I received got2be lightened in exchange for my review #gotitfree on ChickAdviser. The kit was easy to use only because I have bleached my hair before. I did think the instructions might be confusing for first timers, though. That being said, it worked just fine for me. The bottle seemed smaller than other bleach kits I have used and decided to only do strands instead of my whole head. My hair went from a darker blonde to a lovely super light blonde within 35 minutes. The bleach can dry out your hair, any bleach does, but I found that if I coat my hair in coconut oil that it lessens the damage. I would definitely recommend a good quality deep conditioning treatment for after. The price is lower than other kits but if you have thick or longer hair and want to do your whole head then buy two kits. I am pleased with the quality and would buy it for highlights again. -

I did lighten it first but I think it would've worked without lightening on my blonde hair. The red was close to the color on the box and went on evenly, but I only did steaks because it didn't look like enough to do my whole head. I am quite happy with the result but there is definitely not enough in the box. The downsides: it is a hair dye and not a conditioner like the Jerome Russell brand, so it does do some damage to your hair. Also the red kept rubbing off when it was dry, it doesn't have staying power. Plus my bathroom and tub were red for weeks! I would save your money and try something that doesn't bleed! I see why it's so affordable, you'd have to redo it every month. Maybe the other colors work better, I'm not sure, it's just not worth it for me to have to spend money to buy new towels and pillowcases just to save a couple bucks on hair dye. Sorry got2be, try again. -

I received a free trial of light blonde SCHWARZKOPF ROOT RETOUCHER in exchange for my review #gotitfree. It came at the perfect time as my roots were starting to show and I needed something to hide them. This is definitely NOT a product I would ever use again! At first nothing came out of the nozzle so I shook it again and tried for round two. While the spray came out nicely, it looked exactly like spray paint on my hair. The color was a mix of blonde, green, and grey. It looked completely fake and disgusting. I tried brushing it to see if it would blend better, but all I accomplished was ripping my hair out since the consistency is like dry shampoo mixed with hair spray. The whole experience was a disaster. Perhaps the darker colors work better but I'll never use this again, the whole bottle went straight into my trash. I'll keep my roots for now. -

I received a coupon to get Nivea Cocoa Butter body cream for free in exchange for my review. The cream is very rich and thick and smells awesome! I've noticed the skin on my legs is no longer dry and scale. The first time I put the cream on I noticed a difference. It definitely is one of the most moisturizing creams I've every used; if you don't like thick creams then this is not for you. I did find the price to be high bit if I got it on sale then it would be worth it. If you have dry skin like me, it'll be your new best friend. I prefer to get organic lotions and would love to see a more natural version as it contains lots of chemicals. -

I really liked that it got rid of my dry skin but didn't feel greasy and my hands stayed moisturized for hours after. The little metal container slips easily into a bag or a pocket. I have to say, I was not expecting much in the way of primer, since most 2-in-1's are usually lacking, but I was pleasantly surprised. The first time I used the lotion I put too much on my fingers and wound up rubbing it all over my hands, so my hands were nicely primed! So follow the directions when it says "small amount."
My makeup went on smoothly and lasted longer than usual. The only complaint I have is that for a "dry skin" lotion, it doesn't clear up my dry skin or seem to make much of a difference after a week of use. My dry skin needs a much stronger moisturizer this time of year, but I will try it again in summer. Overall, I am very pleased with this moisturizing primer !

This soap bar is amazing! From the first time that I used it, it has left my skin soft and moisturized. The scent of pistachios is beautiful and lingers succulently on my skin all day. Considering there is almost always coupons and sales for Dove products, the price is far beneath its quality. I truly feel as though I am using a rich body wash when it is just a bar of soap. I can't see myself using any other brand from now on and am very excited to try the other scents. My skin does not have the usual tightness I get after using other bars of soap. I usually use soap then a body wash to re-moisturize, but with Dove beauty bars I don't need to double up on my cleansers. Simply using the soap is enough for my skin to feel soft, moisturized, and perfectly cleaned. Seriously, give it a try, you will not be disappointed. -

I received the product free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review club, and I'm glad I did because I typically wouldn't buy something like this. I really liked that each serving was small and individually packaged, so I could easily take it with me for the day. I would like a bigger bottle for at home so I don't feel like I'm destroying the environment by throwing away the little plastic containers every time I use it. I mixed the liquid with juice when I drank it, but even that couldn't hide the bitter, medicine-like taste. The serving size was very small, so it wasn't difficult to drink it quickly and it didn't fill me up like energy drinks do. After consuming the product, I did feel more energetic, even after a couple nights with very little sleep. It was not the quick energy followed by a crash like caffeine, I felt a sustained energy for many hours and didn't notice as I slowly returned to baseline. Both my mind and my body felt more awake, almost like I had had a great nights sleep coupled with an invigorating workout. I will definitely be using Adrien Gagnon Super Energex at work on those days when lack of sleep make my head fuzzy; it works better than any other products I've tried. -

I received this product as a free sample and I will not be buying them. The chocolate flavour was really chalky tasting and not pleasant at all and the bars were so thick that I could barely eat half before I starting to choke and required lots of water. While they do fill me up, I found that I was over full and felt bloated for a few hours after one bar. I did not notice any energy and actually felt sluggish from being too full. I do not recommend this product at all. -
