Papaya Paradise smells like a fun, fruity body mist without going into the nauseating, over-sweet category. It’s definitely sweet, but balanced by fresh and vanilla notes that keep it smelling nice throughout the wear. It’s pretty linear, but one I enjoyed.
This smells like a combination of papaya, creamy, sunscreen-y coconut, and sweet mango. It’s not too juvenile, as the sandalwood, jasmine, and vanilla keep it from being too sweet. There is a slight plummy note to it, but it isn’t detectable, and I prefer that. The packaging looks like a popsicle, which I thought was a cute touch, but not one I’m too enthusiastic about.
I got about 2 hours wear each time. It’s not the best in terms of longevity, but that’s to be expected as it’s a body mist. I also kind of didn’t like the initial spray as it did smell quite chemical-like, but in about 10 to 15 minutes, it became a creamy coconut and mango scent on the skin. Overall, I’d rate this a 3.5/5.

It was through this perfume that I found out I’m not a heavy gourmand lover. Clean Reserve Caramel Swirl smells like a decadent, syrupy caramel that leans very sweet, with an almost sticky quality to the scent itself. It’s incredibly photorealistic and definitely a must-have for true gourmand lovers. While I wouldn’t wear this neither do I prefer it, I can still appreciate the composition of this fragrance.
This genuinely smells like the caramel drizzle over a frappucino or latte that you get from the cafe. It’s very sweet and indulgent, leaning into the edible cateogry. On the first spray, there is a brief alcholic scent that that quickly dissipates in a minute or so. From all the Clean Reserve perfumes I’ve tried and own, this is by far the sweetest and most indulgent of the bunch. If you like caramel scents, this one is for you. I smell white chocolate at the dry-down as well. I don’t really get mango or floral notes that were listed.
The projection of this is quite strong and it lasted a good 4 - 5 hours on my skin. Unfortunately, this ended up being a scrubber for me; I didn’t really like the scent on me. It’s not bad at all, it’s just too sweet for my liking. While the execution and performance of this fragrance is one of the best I’ve seen from Clean Reserve, I’d rate this a 2/5 because of personal preferences.

Nothing beats almond oil as body care for me, especially during application immediately after a shower. L’Occitane Almond Shimmering Oil feels lightweight on the skin, and the glitter particles are evenly distributed, leaving a nice glow without feeling gritty. This smells identical to the pure almond oils I’ve used growing up, except this one has a shimmer finish that makes the bodycare ritual more fun.
When applying this, this gets absorbed rather quickly (almond oil is quite penetrative for skin compared to other oils) and leaves a nice glow. It doesn’t sit on the surface, and doesn’t get greasy or leave oil marks on clothes. It also does not feel sticky. I imagine most people would love this.
I have dry body skin type, and I found this to help soften and nourish my super dry skin. My skin isn’t as dry in the summer, but I’ve noticed this helps hydrate the otherwise dry spots on my body. I’d love to test this in the winter to get a full verdict on the nourishing levels of this. For now, based on the smell and the performance of this, I’m pretty pleased and impressed with this.

It seems like strawberry scents will be the new “it” scent for 2025, and I’m here for it! Clean Beauty has always been one of my favorite fragrance brands; I even have a signature scent that I wear daily. Strawberry Fields is one of their newest releases, and it’s quite different from other perfumes I’ve tried.
I wore this several times, and there’s something I can’t quite put my finger on in terms of how this comes across to the nose. This perfume gets a 3/5 from me, and here's why:
To my nose, on the initial application, I get a strong whiff of alcohol that quickly subsides after about a minute. From the initial notes, I smelled strawberries and clean detergent, and I LOVE clean detergent smells. However, the strawberry came off a little too artificial for my liking, which makes me unsure about whether I like this scent or not. After about 15 minutes, the strawberry note gets stronger and combines with a slightly musky skin scent. I don’t hate it, but I’m just bewildered as to why a musk note was added.
Notes Breakdown:
- Top: wild strawberry, linen accord
- Middle: jasmine petals, orchid blossom
- Base: white musk, amber
The most prominent notes I smelled were wild strawberry (although a bit artificial), linen accord (which I LOVE), and white musk. I did detect some floral notes, but I honestly couldn’t tell you what they were until I saw the notes.
Performance Overview:
- Sillage: 5/10 – This doesn’t linger when worn
- Longevity: 5/10 – Lasts about 4-6 hours on the skin before reapplying
- Projection: 4/10 – This doesn’t really project; it’s more of a skin scent
