They are not to big, they are actually comfortable, as much as they can be, and I have not had any leaks while wearing them. So I do recommend trying them, you will be happy you did. -

It doesn't say it's water proof but it never runs. My eyes water alot so I usually need waterproof mascara, but again this one does not ever run so I don't look like I have raccoon eyes. -
