I really like this product. It reminds of the Volupté Liquid Colour Balm. It has that same similar mango scent. It's nourishing, but it's not the best balm I've ever had. I would have liked a nicer colour pay off. The nude is almost indistinguishable from 155. I know that both are supposed to be nudes, but they don't look as pigmented as the model swatches online. Overall, I do like how high quality the product and the packaging is, but I'm not sure I'd pay $56 for it, when I do think there are some better products out there. I think the Volupté Liquid Colour was a better product. -

I really like this product. It reminds of the Volupté Liquid Colour Balm. It has that same similar mango scent. It's nourishing, but it's not the best balm I've ever had. I would have liked a nicer colour pay off. The nude is almost indistinguishable from 155. I know that both are supposed to be nudes, but they don't look as pigmented as the model swatches online. PanOxyl Oil Control Moisturizer
I really wanted to like this moisturizer since it helps with oil control and has SPF, but it was SO DRY. I felt like I was applying chalk to my skin. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, it gave me white cast too. I did think it help with oil control... +
I really wanted to like this moisturizer since it helps with oil control and has SPF, but it was SO DRY. I felt like I was applying chalk to my skin. Since it's a mineral sunscreen, it gave me white cast too. I did think it help with oil control throughout the day, but it was so extremely drying that I still ended up applying my regular sunscreen ontop, and had to apply more moisturizer too. It highlighted all of my pores when I wore foundation.

I'm always a bit scared to try exfoliants because I have very sensitive skin. This exfoliant was extremely gentle and worked right away. I was having a bit of an eczema flare up, and this product helped me with getting rid of some of the flakiness. It didn't cause' too extreme of an irritation even with the eczema flare.

I found the product worked well- it sucked out all of my acne out after 2 days of using it. However, it’s SO drying that my combination skin could not handle the whole system. My whole face felt so dry that it flared my eczema a bit. It made it hard for my foundation to look good, because it highlighted all of my pores.
It also smells disgusting.

I actually really loved this product. I found the scent lasted a very long time, and it smelled so good. It really was hydrating at the same time. My only problem was that it lasted so long, that it started to make me sneeze! Maybe a bit too strong... +

After the first day, it actually worked like a pimple patch an drew out some of the gunk beneath the area. However, that area is now red, almost seems burned after a week without using the product. I think I would've had better results if I had more to test.

Grown Alchemist Skin Defense Primer

I initially liked the primer because the product applied nicely and smoothly on skin. It reminds me of the Smashbox primer. Almost silicon-like. It had a tiny bit of a blurring effect so I had high hopes
for it.
I tested this primer over 6 days with 3 different foundations. My foundation kept cracking and splitting the longer the day went. It highlighted my wrinkles and my pores as the day went on. It wasn’t great with my stick foundation, my light coverage liquid foundation, or my full coverage liquid foundation. I could not make the primer work for me. With ny combo skin, my oily zones would glisten at the end of the day, and my dry areas were patchy.
I think if you don’t have as many problem areas to cover like I do, this primer might work for you. I also found out that it costs $53 (I swear it was $51 last night), and there are better primers out there for cheaper.
