I am recommending this with reservations; let me explain. Overall, I love the affordability of these lip products and I love the matte finish. They apply easily and dry quickly and I like the colour selection. The caveat is there seems to be issues with inconsistencies in colour. As a beauty blogger myself, I know all too well that there can be differences in photos either due to lighting or computer screens, but I have compared the exact same shade from different batches and found them to be radically different. It is really disappointing expecting one colour and getting something quite different that you may not love. I has a great price point so it isn't a huge loss, but if your beauty budget is limited, you don't want to waste it on something you don't want. There are other affordable brands on the market to choose from that don't have these consistency issues, so if this price is still too much to throw away, I recommend looking elsewhere. -

No, no, no, no! I cannot for the life of me understand why people like this products. This apricot scrub is a type of mechanical exfoliant, meaning it physically removes impurities from the skin. Mechanical exfoliants are great at taking care of skin issues at the outer surface, but they don't help if you have clogged pores. I am ok with this fact since not every one has clogged pores, but I cannot get behind this scrub because it is way too harsh for the skin. Exfoliation still needs to be gentle on the skin, and that is definitely not the case when you are scrubbing this product with walnut shells against your face. It is far too harsh and causes microtears to your skin. I think people use this one time and think it's a great product since it may appear to help initially, but the key to beautiful skin is continued use of quality products. -

That being said, I have discovered that with beauty products, body chemistry is everything, so it may work for you even if it didn't for me. -

I love mascara, and one thing I have learned with testing different mascaras is that they are not all created equally! This mascara does have a higher price point than drugstore brands, but it does coat your lashes beautifully. My lashes were thicker and looked longer with the first coat! One claim is that it curls; I cannot vouch for that since I already curl my eyelashes, but I was very happy with this mascara overall. I wore it all day with no flaking, and as a contact wearing, that is a HUGE plus for me! It's a little spendy, but if you want to splurge, this is a good choice. -

I am very particular about skin care since my face is sensitive, and one of my major issues is with exfoliants. Exfoliating your skin is so important to keep your skin looking healthy and young, but the mechanical exfoliants often are too harsh and cause microtears on your skin. I am a fan of chemical exfoliants, like this BHA liquid by Paula's Choice. Did you know that in order for BHA to be effective at removing debris from your pores it needs to be at the correct pH? Surprisingly, many on the market are NOT formulated correctly. Thankfully I know I can rely on the 2% BHA liquid by Paula's Choice to be formulated correctly so I can have clear skin! Daily use is a little too harsh on my skin, but it is perfect for me when I use it every other day. I cannot recommend this product enough! -
