This pasta cooks up quickly and easily and makes for an easy weeknight family dinner that is loaded with extra protein. This pasta cleverly disguises protein-packed legumes like lentils and chickpeas to boost the nutrient value. With 17g of protein per 85g serving, it helps me to achieve my daily nutrition goals without extra effort.
With picky teenagers at home, I'm always looking for ways to hide extra protein and nutrients in meals without having to work too hard.

I recently tested the Noma High Efficiency 35 Pint Dehumidifier from Canadian Tire, and it has been a game-changer in our home. We've struggled with high humidity on our second floor ever since moving into our new build nearly nine years ago. At times, the moisture was so bad that condensation would pool on the window sills and drip down the walls. Until now, our only solution was placing mason jars of desiccant near the bedroom windows, which offered only moderate relief.
Adding this high-efficiency dehumidifier has made a dramatic difference. In just two weeks of running it on the “Auto Dry” setting during the day in our bedroom, we've noticed significant improvements in air quality, sleep comfort, and even a reduction in persistent black mold in problem areas.
While the noise level is a bit too high to run overnight, it's perfect for use during the day. The unit is user-friendly, with an easy-to-read digital display and a simple emptying and cleaning process. For those who prefer more control, there’s a manual mode that allows you to adjust the fan speed and set your target humidity level - but for us, the auto-dry setting works flawlessly.
Since using this dehumidifier, our home feels noticeably more comfortable on the second floor - no more sticky, stuffy air. It’s made a real difference in how we feel physically inside the house.
I highly recommend investing in a quality dehumidifier like the Noma High Efficiency 35 Pint model if you're dealing with bouts of condensation, mold, disrupted sleep, or respiratory issues which could be related to excess indoor humidity.

The fluoride formula helps protect teeth, and it leaves a long-lasting fresh sensation. However, the strong odor of the rinse was a touch off-putting, and the high price per milliliter makes it a costly option compared to other fluoride rinses. While it’s effective, the premium price may make it hard to justify when compared to other major brand oral rinses. For those with specific dental concerns to address, this is a price-friendly alternative to prescription oral rinses

I was very appreciative to be chosen to try the McCafe Medium Espresso pods which are compatible with Nespresso machines.
I found the flavour of these pods to be in line with most other mid-priced coffee pods, but the price point for just 10 capsules isn't worth it in my opinion. It was last-lustre and on the bitter side of the espresso world, and while I have no complaints about a McDonald's coffee in a pinch, I wouldn't splurge on these for myself. I might consider buying them if they were on sale.

I was recently given the opportunity to try out DAP 40-yr window and door caulking. It came at a good time considering as we wanted to reseal some frames ahead of winter. Overall, the product was easy to use, clean to apply and cleaned up nicely. I did find it a little thicker than other caulk used in the past and had to apply a little extra pressure to get a good consistent string going. Once I got the hang of it though, it went by quickly and without a lot of mess. As for its promise of 40 years, we'll just have to wait and see!
For the price, and the quality you can't go wrong with a trusted brand like DAP!

I experienced a little mishap with an immersion blender while making soup the other week, and found myself with a good burn blistering up on my wrist.
Thankfully, I had a box of @bandaidbrandcanada Pro-Heal bandages on hand to expedite the healing process! These band-aids are equipped with a sealed hydrocolloid gel pad to promote faster healing and minimize the appearance of scars for minor injuries.
I used half a package over the course of 5 days because I found that the adhesive wasn't strong enough for such a high-flex joint like the wrist. Despite this, I was happy with the results from the hydrocolloid pad and believe that this contributed to the faster healing time and overall appearance of the scar.
These bandages are a great option to consider for burns, cuts, and scrapes, which have the potential to create scarring

I recently had the opportunity to try the 3M Nexcare Acne Patches. The packaging describes the patches as "thin & and transparent," and I was pleased to find this claim to be highly accurate. The box comes with 39 in 2 different sizes.
I appreciate the easy peel tab feature, which made a noticeable difference in the ease of peeling the patch from the backing, although I found the removal of the tab itself once applied to the skin to be a little cumbersome.
Once applied, I was delighted that the patch was nearly seamless on the skin. It did not feel heavy or thick on the skin and was nearly invisible. I confidently went about my day, forgetting that it was even there! After nearly 12 hours of wear, it peeled off with minimal residue, and the blemish itself was gone.
The price per patch is far more palatable than many other similar products on the market and delivers similar results. Overall, I'm very pleased with these Nexcare patches and will be buying soon.

I'm a big fan of L'Occitane Artichaut and knew that I would enjoy this cream, but little did I know just how much! When compared to Artichaut, Milk Concentrate provided more softness over time and did not feel heavy or oily after applying. It leaves a very subtle sheen to the skin to enhance your own radiance. The gentle scent doesn't give off any artificial vibes - just vanilla and almonds. It is sweet and subtle, but it lingers throughout the day.
Almond oil is high in vitamin E and helps to soothe dry skin and protect against water loss. Vitamin E can also help to minimize the appearance of scars, fine lines, and stretch marks. Although this is not a named benefit of this cream, it may help in the long run.
I have really enjoyed using this cream, and I didn't think that anything could knock Artichaut out of the top shelf, but this one might be king!
