I’ve always been a fan of the Caudalie line and this is no exception.

Cons:
- not a huge fan of the scent
- price tag is a little high
Due to price, I won’t be repurchasing for now - lifting is not my main priority and there are cheaper alternatives on the market !

There were 2 reasons I started using this. One, it came in a travel size and it was perfect for all the trips I take. Two, many other deodorants I find have such a strong chemically fragrance - and this baby powder was a light scent. I've been using it for over a year but am starting to learn about using natural deodorants instead / not using aluminum based deodorant products. I am also not sure how I feel anymore about smelling like a baby's bum ... it's not too sexy. Still undecided on whether i'd repurchase - it's cheap but are the tradeoffs worth it ? -

I can't believe I've been cheaping out on razors. I have a Schick razor with a refillable blade (which is one of the cheapest options out there) or use the Schick disposable razors (which I usually get on sale). Schick sent me this Hydro Silk one for free a while back, and I'm only getting the chance to try it out now - AND I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT IS. This gets to the bottom of the hairs and really leaves your skin silky smooth. It's worth it for the few extra bucks - don't cheap out !! -

Pros:
- smells nice
Cons:
- does not fit face properly (if I adjust it to fit my eyes, it kind of fits my nose by completely misses my mouth
- not environmentally friendly (i found that extra blue layer that you peel off the mask extremely wasteful and unnecessary)
- sticky feeling at the end (my skin felt sticky and taut after the treatment; not soft and moisturized like other masks)
- did not blend into my skin after rubbing (the instructions says to peel of mask and rub in the excess, but it just got to be such a mess because my skin refused to absorb the product)
This is unfortunately a no for me.

I received this as a sample directly from John Frieda (along with the shampoo and conditioner).
After I've conditioned, I put this in my hair - it goes in smoothly and has a pleasant smell. When I was washing it out, my hair became more tangly and was not silky smooth like it normally is after I wash out conditioner. After a blow dry, I did not notice any significant difference in the volume of my hair.

I'm a huge fan of Bumble & Bumble products and I've been trying to find cheaper alternatives to all my hair products cause it's starting to get pretty expensive. I received a sample of this in the mail to try. Unfortunately, this is no where close to what I'm used to. The actual application is with your hands, leaving a greasy mess. And once it's in your hair, it gives it a nice shine, although somewhat greasy looking. This is just not for me. -

I was skeptical putting this in the machine because of the way it needs to disperse through my laundry. I'm using a HE (high efficiency) laundry machine and the packet said that it dissolves in all temperatures - so I gave it a try. Unfortunately, due to the delicacy of my clothes (and some were knit/wool), I put the settings on hand wash - which means it won't toss around my clothes vigorously. After washing, my clothes didn't smell clean - I don't think it worked very well for these settings ... which is unfortunate. -

I didn’t buy the trio - just the single stick (Amber). What I love about this shade is the cool/grey tone that is perfect for contouring. It creates amazing shadows.
The actual application is not as quick and easy as I’d like. I can contour my face directly, but I need to blend it with my hands (to first warm up the product) and then a brush. I have warm undertones, so if I don’t blend it out properly, sometimes it can look muddy.
I love the packaging, but I just wish it had more product (esp for the price). If you roll up the entire stick, you’ll realize it’s not a full tube - and personally, I’ve been going through the stick pretty quickly.
