I absolutely love the Sketcher's Shape-ups brand runners, wearing them make me feel like I'm walking on clouds. These shoes are so ridiculously comfortable, that it doesn't matter whether they actually help shape your legs and bum or not. Now I know that according to studies the claims these shoes make are unsubstantiated, but I'm going to go based on what I have seen and felt with my own experience. When I first started wearing these runners, on a regular basis, my legs would be sore by the end of the day. Between sore legs and the lack of cellulite on my legs, I would say they at least help, along with my daily workout regimen. -

I love this series by George R. R. Martin. The books take you to a whole different world with war, dragons, dire wolves, kingdoms, betrayal and incest. It is a fantasy series that is not appropriate for young teens, that's for sure, but it is so well written. He thought and planned out everything in this series, it's no wonder it got picked up by HBO. The books offer a unique thing that I have never come across before, each book has multiple pov's ranging from about 8-12 different character stories in each book told through those characters. I have seen multiple points of view before, just not to this magnitude, most authors just let what happens to the other characters come out when the main character finds out about it. This allows the reader to peek into very differing minds in a story so full of betrayal and treason. -

This is a fairly new facility in Winnipeg, only been open for about 2 years now. The machines are all newer models, and well maintained. They offer on site tanning, and you control when you go workout with your key fab/key card. What I don't care for about this facility is the lack of staffed hours, often you will find that there is no one working outside of mon-fri retail hours, so if you have to update your account or ask a question, you best be going during your work day. It's a smaller location with minimal changing rooms, but due to the fact you can go anytime to workout, I have never run into an issue with it being too busy. -

I love the Harry Potter series, JK Rowling is such a talented writer. I decided to review the final book, since many series enders tend to feel like the author was just trying to get it done and over with. This book moves at a good pace, she doesn't leave loose ends that never get tied up like so many others. I would recommend the series to people of all ages, even if you aren't into the fantasy genre, this series will be your jumping point. -

While I'm sure this bar would be filling enough to be a meal replacement, you would have to get through the whole bar for it to be effective, and with the taste that is a huge feat. -

I colour my hair usually a vibrant reddish/purplish auburn colour and as I'm sure many of you have experienced, red dye jobs fade more quickly then others. Therefore, to prolong the life of my colour, I always keep a waterless shampoo on hand. I ran out of the one I had been currently using, but unfortunately I had picked it up on a trip to the US and here in Winnipeg there are very few options in stores. Well I was browsing the shampoo aisle at Walmart I spotted the Marc Anthony 2nd Day clear dry shampoo and at $6 thought it was worth a shot. I am so glad I did. Most dry shampoos go on very powdery and dull your hair giving it a greyish powdery look. So with darker hair you have to be very careful in using them, but with this one it truly goes on clear, leaves no physical residue and doesn't overtly perfume your hair, just gives it a very fresh smell. With this one I don't have to spend 10 minutes just making sure its all absorbed into the hair, I can just spray and go. -
