Coconut DREAM Unsweetened Coconut Drink
After the birth of my son I became mildly lactose intolerant..although I can still eat processed dairy like yogurt and ice cream, drinking a yummy glass of cold milk is now out of the question! So I was eager to try this..a non-dairy alternative... +
After the birth of my son I became mildly lactose intolerant..although I can still eat processed dairy like yogurt and ice cream, drinking a yummy glass of cold milk is now out of the question! So I was eager to try this..a non-dairy alternative for my cereal and tea. Although not overpowering at first, it's hard to get away from the very distinct coconut flavour and after a few spoonfuls of my morning cereal with this, found it quite distracting. I would probably use this in the future for cooking and for recipes where coconut was an expected flavour, found it too distinct for everyday consumption. I'll stick to my soy and almond milk alternatives for now. -

I received this product for free as part of the GOSH Product Review Club, it was a great way to be able to try out new mascara without having spent too much money to something that didn't work for me.
I have asian lashes - to say, they have the length but have absolutely no curl and if anything, point downwards. My best friend in my make up bag is an eye lash curler..my day rarely starts without it! So because I reply so heavily on my curler to give my eyes the open "pop", my go-to is always a waterproof mascara due to the higher wax content..they don't "wet" the lashes and do not wilt the curl. The GOSH Double Precision Mascara was actually ok..although they did wilt my lashes a little but not as much as the other brands out there. I did find the big brush a little too large and awkward, too much gooping and not enough separating..so I ended up using the smaller brush meant for the lower lashes for everything and I was able to get into the corner lashes without the mess. Would love to try a waterproof formula of this if one comes out!

I received this product for free as part of the GOSH product review club. So many mineral powders out there, you'd think they were all the same. Not this mineral powder! Smooth and silky, medium to full coverage..a very wonderful product that's a pleasure to dust on for an even, matte finish. The hue I received was a little light after the summer months but I'm hoping to be able to get more use of it when my sunkissed look fades away and my complexion is lighter. Would've been great to have a little brush to take with it on the go..but overall a definitely thumbs up! -

I received this GOSH Giant Blush through the GOSH Goddess Chick Review Panel and really enjoyed this product! Although my first impression was that the cream blush seemed a bit on the oily side, the very creamy yet sheer application went on extremely smoothly and blended to a perfect finish. I wore this for 5 days in a row as part of my everyday make-up routine and found GOSH Giant Brush 02 SHY to be a great, daytime hue to bring the right amount of colour to my complexion without being obvious. I was expecting the blush colour to slowly move (slide!) down my face over the course of the day but surprisingly the colour stayed put! Despite the perfume and paraben-free formula, I did find that it caused a slight irritation for the first couple of days - perhaps a result of my very sensitive skin and extremely humid weather we were experiencing last week. The irritation didn't last..and I'm happy to say I'll keep wearing this on a daily basis. -

I received this Gosh Lip Lacquer through the GOSH Goddess Chick Review Panel and what an amazing bag of goodies I received! I have to admit, I'm not usually a fan of lip lacquer..many offer very little colour with the sticky consistency of rubbing liquid honey all over your mouth. Feeling your lips stick together every time you speak can get annoying quickly. So I was skeptical when I applied GOSH Lip Lacquer..but I was pleasantly surprised!
First of all, the colour is AMAZING. Highly pigmented and glides on super smoothly. The wand is easy to control (I find the longer wands sometimes annoying..) and the packaging is unique and easy to distinguish from the other inferior brands. Love that it's hardly scented and you're not feeling slightly nauseated after a full day of smelling (and consuming!) some of the sickeningly sweet gloss/lacquers on the market. As with all lacquers, the longevity of wear is limited and to keep the full intensity of the hue, you're expected to reapply fairly often. The plus side however is that because the colour is so intense, you can apply it with your fingertips for a more muted, stained-lip look. If you're a fan of lip lacquers, this is a must have!

I have uber-sensitive skin and suffer from occasional eczema outbreaks on my hands, especially when I've had a particularly busy few days silversmithing. Stress also causes flare ups and I've had my heart broken more than a few times when my 2 year old pushes my hands away when I'm applying moisturizer cream on him after a bath, telling me that my hand are "ouchie" on him. Aveeno had been one of the very few creams on the general market what hasn't stung like mad when during this outbreaks..my other go-to cream is an over the counter steroid cream which I try to refrain from using whenever possible. Incredibly gentle on the skin, it leaves my hands manageably softer and seems to sink into the skin with no oily residue. A decadent moisturizer while being quite affordable! Love this stuff :) -

After receiving this OxiClean laundry detergent for free through ChickAdvisor to review, I was eager to see if there was any difference between this and my current detergent. The test? Grass and curry stains on a white and blue striped shirt my toddler wore for all of 20 minutes - it's been through the laundry twice already and the stains looked like they were there to stay. After the first cycle, there appeared to be little difference..so I poured a small amount of OxiClean on the stubborn stains and let it sit for a few minutes before throwing it in the wash again. Second time around? No stains! Hurray! Has this product changed my life? No..but would definitely purchase for full value after this bottle runs out! Seems to work really well for stains that you can't bleach due to coloured clothing. -

Good dependable Kleenex brand but don't think I'd pay extra for the designer box. I have a two year old and having expensive kleenexes around just doesn't make sense. If I had a great design studio, I might splurge for these for clients
