I've been using this religiously since high school, ever since I picked it up on a whim in high school. I've only strayed once, with Revlon, and it was a smudgey mistake I'll never make again! This liner applies smoothly and stays put all day, I've never had issues with it transferring or smudging. I've even fallen asleep with it on (I know, I know) only to wake up the next morning and find still valiantly clinging to my upper lid. I'm not sure what it'll take for me to switch, but right now I have zero reason to! -

Was lucky to pick up a few of the Velvetines on super sale and I'm very happy with my purchase! They apply smoothly and dry down completely matte, no transfer whatsoever and not too drying on the lips. The staying power is pretty great as well, I'd say I can go a good 4-5 hours without needing to reapply (depending on what I've eaten that day). Will definitely be picking up some more colours when I get the chance. -

I have combination skin that's relatively free of any hyper pigmentation. While I found that the SuperStay gave me good coverage, it left me very shiny by the end of the day! Even worse is how badly it transferred to anything that was every remotely close to my face. Might be a better match for someone with drier skin? -

As a dark skinned woman, it can be tough finding my foundation shade in drugstores. After years of using the almost-but-not-quite-the-right-color Maybelline Superstay foundation, I decided to suck it up and head to Sephora.
What I love about this foundation, even beyond the color match, is that it lasts ALL DAY. With my old foundation i used to have major transfer issues, anything that came into contact with my face would get brown streaks all over it. KVD Lock It is literally locked into place, my make up looks flawless from first application to when I wash it off at night. Downside for some people is that it's very full coverage, but that's a plus for me!
