I tend to be sensitive to overly strong scents, so I was excited to try Tide Free and Gentle. To test the product out, I used it on several loads of laundry – including a load of delicate laundry that was left to hang-dry. All of my clothes came out nice and clean as I expected (but to be fair, I did not have anything that was super dirty or soiled). I can’t really comment on whether or not it was better for sensitive skin, but the laundry definitely did not smell of any strong perfumes. It was just clean, without any smell. The only negative for me was the price. As with any other Tide products, the product is more expensive than other brands with comparable products. If you can find it on sale (which I did), however, than it can be affordable. Overall, this is a great product if you are want to avoid strong scents and dyes, but don’t want to give up the cleaning-strength and convenience of conventional laundry detergent. -
Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes
These are fantastic makeup remover wipes. The towelettes are thick and quite large so it makes the job easier. The small textured bumps on the cloth also seem to help in removing makeup and grime. They also work great as a quick way to freshen up... +
These are fantastic makeup remover wipes. The towelettes are thick and quite large so it makes the job easier. The small textured bumps on the cloth also seem to help in removing makeup and grime. They also work great as a quick way to freshen up when travelling (e.g. when camping or backpacking).
Although they are scented the smell isn't too strong or sweet. Plus you really can't beat the value of these towelettes. You get a ton of product for the price (150 towelettes compared to about 50). If you go through a ton of towelettes, the Kirkland towelettes are probably the most cost-effective.
They can, however, be a tad drying, so they may not be best for those who have more sensitive skin. As a result, I don't tend to use them as a daily cleanser. I think there are other brands that are more gentle and moisturizing than these towelettes.
In short, if you do not have particularly sensitive skin, and are looking for great makeup remover wipes or convenient cleansing cloths these cleansing towelletes are a super affordable option.

I found Heavy Cream very thick and moisturizing. It immediately helped my super dry hands. It does, however, take a long time to absorb and can feel a little greasy until it dries. Unfortunately the fragrance was a deal breaker for me. Heavy Cream has a strong super sweet vanilla frosting smell, which I found to be overwhelming. I tend to be sensitive to strong fragrances - preferring light fruity, or refreshing scents instead. This moisturizer definitely is not for me, but if you enjoy sweet fragrances, are willing to splurge a little, and want a rich moisturizer you might like this product. -
