I’ll start by explaining that I am SO picky with hand creams and lotions - I’ve tried everything from bargain brands to high-end luxury brands and had pretty much given up on finding one that didn’t make my hands feel greasy. Greasy hands drive me crazy, but so do dry hands - quite the dilemma. Until now - for the first time I’ve found a non-greasy cream that not only smells divine but has ingredients that make me feel good about using it! I’m so happy with this product, I’m going to go tell everyone I know! Thank you Grown Alchemist, you’ve just made the long winter ahead a little less daunting!

This soap has the most relaxing scent, I felt immediately transported to my favorite spa. The earthy and natural scent was refreshing and calming. I loved that my hands felt clean and smooth afterwards, it did not dry them out at all. I also appreciated that it wasn’t oily and hard to wash off and came in a simple yet classy looking bottle! Would definitely recommend.

Overall I liked these gummies - I’ve tried the Sambucol powder in the past and loved it, so I had high expectations. The pros are that they are super fast and easy to take, and I feel good taking them! I love the idea of getting some extra immunity considering I have toddlers in daycare who bring home all the viruses. The only con was that sadly I did not love the taste. Texture was good, but the my were a bit too sour for my liking. Not terrible though, I’m sure a lot of people who enjoy sour flavours would love them!

As we enter cold and flu season I’m always on the lookout for cough syrups that work as our winter always feels like one never-ending run on cold. I had never tried this one and was happy to see what it’s all about! I love that this is natural, and the packaging is very eye catching, but unfortunately one of my twins hated the texture (very thick syrup). My other twin loved it though and so did I. I would say it worked as well as the other natural cough syrups available (helps, but no miracles in terms of ending coughing quickly). I would buy it again. -

I never would have thought to buy a freezer thermometer, however the leave of mind this little gadget has brought me makes me think I won’t go without from now on! I was often worried that my freezer wasn’t cold enough (I.e. soft ice cream) and I was worried that my food may not be safe for my little ones to consume, and this super easy to use thermometer quickly showed me that another few degrees colder would be ideal! It now has a permanent home beside the growing pile of brown bananas (which I swear I’ll eventually make banana bread out of!). -
