I love the waterproof version of this mascara! Most mascara's are too wet and make my curled lashes fall back flat, but this stuff keeps them right where you want them! I do have makeup remover however I haven't used it with this product. It easily comes off with my facial wash and cloth without alot of pulling or tugging. Another plus, this mascara lasts all day and I haven't had any problems with flaking.
The brush design can take a little getting used to but I actually prefer the comb as it keeps the mascara from clumping and reaching root to tip. The price of this mascara is usually very good, especially when on sale. I've never paid more that $10 a tube. :)

I received Vichy Idealia Life Serum free to try from Chick Advisor. I have been using it along with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep cream also which I will review.
At first try of the Idealia Serum I found it to be quite scented, well more than I'm used to from my usual product. It's not a natural scent either like citrus or aloe, more of a perfume or floral scent. It didn't bother me much and I got used to it, but someone who is sensitive may be affected. The serum provides the perfect base for the Skin Sleep cream; it allows the cream to be applied & blended more easily and to better absorb into the skin.
After using the products for 3 weeks, my skin looks a bit more hydrated, and feels slightly firmer, and 'plumped". I also wasn't waking up in the morning with the pillow creases on my face that I would usually get without using this product - which in itself is a bonus! So these products were defiantly doing something good for my skin. :) As I said earlier, the products work better as a combo instead of alone, which is probably how it's intended. This however will raise the price point having to buy 2 products instead of one. Both worked well and I will probably purchase again once this sample runs out. Thanks Chick Advisor & Vichy for giving me the opportunity to try!

I received Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep free to try from Chick Advisor. I have been using the product for 3 weeks now. I have been using it along with the Vichy Idealia Life Serum also which I will review.
At first try of the Skin Sleep cream I found it to be quite scented, well more than I'm used to from my usual product. When I first applied the Skin Sleep cream alone, I found it absorbed into the skin really quickly, almost before I could rub it in all over my face. Using with the serum, it blended a lot better and unused much less of the product. So it is really better to use as a combo.

It is a bit on the pricey side though, even with a discount. I will continue to use it because it works and does what it says it will. :) -

I finally found it at a local Canadian Tire store. The product worked as promised, but was no better or worse than the product I usually purchase. This was a bit pricey though, it retailed for $8.99 for 24 paks. I would buy again if my local grocery store stocks it, but I won't make a special trip to purchase it at CT. Also, it would have to be on sale. :) -

I received this product from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club to try out. I must say my dishes have never looked better! Glasses are crystal clear - no spots or white residue left behind! This product was very easy to use; just a couple of squirts before your wash cycle on the bottom of the dishwasher and fill up the dispenser cup, then add your regular detergent. Voila - dishes are left squeaky clean! :) I definitely plan to purchase this product in the future and will recommend to others. -

I am a self confessed mascara junkie - always on the hunt for that perfect mascara that will give me lashes that are full and long. So when I saw the advertisement for CoverGirl's new LashPerfection mascara I wanted to give it a try. I must say this mascara is one of my new favs!
First the wand - it is a good length and easy to handle - not too long. The bristles are spiky and the applicator is quite smaller than those big ones we have become used to - it allows you to get in and reach those small lashes or hard to reach areas in the corners.
I purchased the mascara in "Black Brown". The formula is rather wet and takes a some time to dry. I found one application will give you a natural look, but if you want a more dramatic look or fuller lashes you will have to reapply. But here's the difference - this mascara does not clump! I was really surprised that after applying several coats (allowing each to dry slightly in between) that this did not give me spidery lashes like a lot of other brands! Now if you have the time you can achieve a really great look with this mascara. I applied 2-3 coats, slowly pulling the brush and lifting with each coat and my lashes were lifted and full without curling! It held all day and did not flake - bonus!
The price was also less than Lash Blast, which is great. I absolutely recommend this mascara - a must for any makeup bag! :)

I was looking for a foundation that would help with my shiny t-zone area. I was getting tired of my face feeling like an oil slick by mid afternoon and my foundation sliding away. I came across Marcelle's Matte Finish Foundation and decided to give it a try. After reading the description - I was sold! Marcelle states this foundation is "Specially formulated to control excess oil without drying out your skin, this water-based foundation lets your skin breathe and keeps your complexion looking beautifully fresh all day long." I was sold! I purchased the foundation in the "Barely There" shade.
I've been using this foundation for a little over a month now and have no complaints - this is really good foundation and everything Marcelle said it would be! The formula is really lightweight and covers imperfections with a very natural finish. It is also buildable if you need more coverage. The "Barely There" colour matched my fair skin tone perfectly. My face no longer feels like I'm wearing a ton of makeup and still looks great by 4:00 pm!
I absolutely recommend this foundation for anyone with combination or oily skin - you will not be disappointed!

My teeth are not to bad to start off with - but I am a tea drinker and was hoping this would give me a brighter look. I was disappointed with results - there was definately no "wow" factor! I barely noticed a change in the color of my teeth. Slightly - but nothing like this product promises. I have had the same results with other Crest Whitestrip products in one application - but the difference is that I didn't have the hassle of leaving them on for 2 hours. Also my teeth were left feeling very sensitive - more so than with previous products that I have tried in the past. Maybe a result for leaving them on my teeth for so long???
Overall I was not happy with the results and would not recommend this product - there are better ones out there.

This mascara was a HUGE disappointment! The formula itself isn't bad - but the brush is a nightmare!! The large red plastic comb outside the bristles doesn't do anything but cause a mess, and left my lashes a clumpy and spidery looking! I don't know how they are expecting you to apply this mascara, but you almost have to twirl the brush as you are applying it - not an easy task.
I would not recommend this mascara - there are much better ones out there. Save yourself the frustration!
