First of all, let me say how blown away I was just by the packaging alone. The black box it comes in is beautiful with its metallic rainbow lettering just inviting you in. Then when you get into the box the black palette with the jewel-like UD raised on the top is just another beautiful touch. To add to the beauty the outer edge of the palette lid has a laser cut filigree pattern. And as if that wasn’t enough it has a full mirror on the inside and the eyeshadows can be lifted out and underneath is a velvet lined box, so it can be used as a jewellery box too.
As I mentioned there are 15 shadows and they are all shimmer, no dull mattes here. They are laid out in five rows of three and each row has its own colour range: green, blue, purple, pink and brown. See photos for colour swatches.
Overall this is a great palette with some very pretty colours. All are soft and easily blendable with some having more shimmer than others. The staying power is impressive and if used over primer will last a good eight hours or more. You may want to use this palette in conjunction with another, perhaps a matte palette to get the look you want, but I love it and would definitely recommend it.

Well, the palette comes in a brightly coloured box the top of which is replicated on the actual palette lid. The underside of the box has details of the colours. Palettes sold in US, Canada and Brazil come with the following wording on the box and the palette. “Warning: Slowburn, Savage, Jilted, and Urban are not intended for the immediate eye area.”
Inside the palette the lid has a mirror which uses the full space, so is actually useful, unlike many palettes which only a small mirror inside. The palette is a good size, not so big that it is too big to carry around, but not so small that it is not worth having. Please see the pics to see the shades in this palette.
Overall I love the palette as it offers a great variety of bright pigmented colours. As I am now classed as a mature woman, I tend to prefer matte shades and this palette delivered. Even the slightly shimmery shades were subtle and ones I would feel comfortable wearing. The only exception would be Revolt which is definitely very metallic and shimmery.

Because these eyeshadows are made with professionals in mind, they are made to professional quality, so the quality and pigmentation is great and the shade range is totally great. There are 18 matte shades in this palette allowing you to achieve infinite shade variations. They range from bright yellow, to deep purple with every shade in between. All the shades are highly pigmented and all are smooth to the touch and go onto the eye nicely. They blend beautifully and I never found them to become muddy. Kryolan also includes a small eyeshadow brush that is made from real hair, which you may or may not like, but it is there.
All the shadows, without exception, can be used to achieve everything from very sheer coverage to dense, in-your-face, wow colours. They all blended well and lasted a good 7-8 hours on me.

I was wary of these to say the least and decided to try it out on one side of my face only, just to start with.
So following these instructions, I proceeded to shave my face and I have to say I was shocked at how much peach fuzz was hanging off the blade after just a few strokes. Even though the hairs are tiny and for me, very blonde, there was a whole ton of them, who knew. The blade never once cut me or made the experience uncomfortable. As long as you remember to keep your skin taut and keep removing the fuzz from the blade all is well. I was so impressed with my initial try that I continued with the rest of my face. I had no major redness or irritation after and I followed up with my usual moisturizer as they suggest.
Overall, I am very impressed this inexpensive little tool. I found that it was easy to use and worked really well.

I had a free sample of this serum and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The serum is clear and it is also fragrance-free, so great for those with sensitive skin or noses. It feels very smooth to the touch and glides over the skin and gets absorbed quickly. This means that my face was not left with that sticky feeling after application that some serums leave.
The thing I noticed almost from the first application was that my moisturiser seemed to absorb better. It was a subtle difference, but it seemed that as I applied moisturiser it went on smoother and absorbed quicker.
Over time I did notice that a couple of dark spots I had on that side were hardly noticeable. This was something I suddenly became aware of one morning and it was a very pleasant surprise and not one I was expecting. I know it claims to reduce them, but I honestly was sceptical, but it really did.
I'll definitely keep using this.

They are all smooth and soft and apply really well using fingers or a foam applicator. Using a brush for these really doesn't work. There is some fallout with all the shades, so I would advise applying before you do your face, or use a shadow guard. There was noticeably less fallout when applied over primer. All the shadows blended well and worked over the top of other eyeshadows, so you could add a little sparkle to your everyday shadows. Colour payoff was also better over primer. -

When you rub this on your face, you can feel the nitty gritty bits in the cream. It does feel quite abrasive, but that is the whole idea, isn’t it. Then just washed it off and dabbed my face dry with a towel. I should also mention that it does have a slight citrusy smell, but it’s not too strong. I suppose if you are sensitive to smells, this might be a deal-breaker for you.
My moisturiser did seem to go on smoother, and when I applied my makeup the following day I felt it also went on a little smoother, so I was pretty happy. So, my overall view of this product is that it does what it says, in that it definitely made my skin feel softer and look brighter. I have not noticed any difference in my fine lines or wrinkles, though.
I would never buy this, it's way too expensive.

I got this on a whim when I saw it at my local SDM. I generally like NYX products so though it looked like a good idea. A pencil for brows and a highlighter to, well highlight and correct the shape. It comes in a box and when I got it home I took the product out.
I took the lid off the highlighter and as expected there was a chubby pencil that was cream in colour. I had purchased the taupe shade and so then went to the brow pencil end. However there was no pencil, so knowing it was a twist type I began twisting, still no pencil. I then looked inside the pencil lid and there was the pencil stuck at the very top.
Well I banged and banged trying to get it out and eventually it did, so I put it back in the correct end and it twisted up and down as required. I then twisted it right down so it wouldn't get stuck again and replaced the lid. Then removed it again and once again the pencil was stuck inside the lid. This is being returned!
