It is a nice light serum but didn't really live up to all of the promises on the packaging. I used this product after coming back from a vacation where I had lots of sun exposure. While I found it helped make my skin soft, I didn't find it plumped my skin or helped with the lines around my eyes. I received this product as part of a beauty review campaign and was given enough to last me a week, I suppose if I was able to use it for several months I may feel differently. Overall, a fairly good product, but I'm not sure if it justifies the $172 (US) for 2.5 oz. -

I received a bottled of the Irish Spring Cedar & Sage body wash in the mail. I found the scent from the bottle to be nice, but slightly overpowering. I was worried that my husband was going to smell like the Irish Spring scent of the past but I was totally surprised at how much I enjoyed the this scent on him after he used it in the shower. While it smells strong in the bottle, it is much more subtle after being used. It's a nice warm scent that isn't too "heavy" smelling. It's perfect for year round use. My hubby didn't notice any big difference on it's cleaning ability or how it felt on his body, but we will be buying it again because it smells so nice. -

I used Shu Uemura's Ultimate 8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil for the past few weeks because I wanted to see if it was really worth the price tag ($106 for 450mLs!). While I found this to be a nice multipurpose cleansing oil, I honestly wouldn't buy it again for the cost factor. It worked well as a cleansing oil and even removed makeup from the previous night that I thought I had properly removed. It works like a charm for removing makeup (much better than Micellar water) and as a moisturizer. I even used it on my sunburnt face to combat the tightness I felt as it was healing. Yes, yes, I know. Wear sunscreen next time. It was never irritating to my sensitive skin and a little of the oil goes a long way. I'm hesitant to recommend this to anyone because there are many cleansing oils on the market that work just as well and cost a fraction of the price. -

I am NOT a mascara person. In fact, I rarely wear makeup, but this product is a game changer. It went on so nicely, with no lumps, clumps, or flakes and it stayed put! Even during the hot weather when I was sweating this mascara didn't budge. It feels and looks natural on and doesn't give a heavy look. Multiple coats did bump up the wow factor and could easily be used for day or night. I did find the black shade a bit too dark for me, but I will buy again in a different shade. -

I received the Orange Naturals D3 drops as part of a Butterly campaign. I really love the fact that this product is made in Canada. Vitamin D supplementation is a must for every Canadian, especially kids. The drops have a very mild orange flavour that isn't over powering. I don't have small children so I decided to try this product myself. The packaging is all glass except for the very top part of the lid. I easily place a few drops on my tongue each morning and off I go. The drops could easily be added to food without your kids knowing. My only issue with the product is the orange flavouring. It really doesn't need to be added (the orange flavour barely lasts a minute or two) and kids that have sensory issues may not like the orange flavour of the drops. The price online was reasonable for this product and is a good choice for those with small kids. Once your children are older, they could very easily take a vitamin D3 supplement in pill form that is much cheaper. -

The swirls of caramel ribbons added a perfect flavour but in the end I did find this ice cream a bit too sweet for my liking. I think this is a great alternative for those looking for a lactose and sugar free option though. The tub isn't very large and the cost at my local store was $6.99. I will try the other sugar free options in the line to see if I like one better. I'm happy to support Chapmans brand as I believe in supporting Canadian and especially supporting companies the did the right thing during the pandemic. -

a2 Milk™ 3.25% Homogenized Milk
We tried the homogenized a2 milk. It had a good taste and didn't seem to upset my stomach like milk does at times. It wasn't available in all stores which made it difficult to find. Glad to see that Canadian dairy farmers supply for this product.
