ChickAdvisor sent me Nivea Care Nourishing Cream to test out for free. I am always game to try new creams for my very dry skin.
I enjoyed the smooth, silky texture of this product and found it absorbed quite quickly. I would recommend it for those with normal to slightly dry skin.
It wasn’t the best product for my very dry skin. My arms and legs looked dry again a few hours after applying it liberally.

I was given the opportunity, by ChickAdvisor, to try Breyers Non-dairy Cookies & Creme for free. This was my first time tasting a non-dairy “ice cream”. I was a little leery, but this stuff is actually delicious. Its taste is very similar to traditional cookies and creme. The texture is smooth and the amount of cookies is perfect. My husband and two children tried it as well and it was a hit all around. I will most definitely purchase it again and I am looking forward to trying the other flavours as well. -

I still like this product. Chick Advisor gave me the opportunity to try this body wash for free. Lucky me! I have super dry skin and found this body wash to be moisturizing with a subtle, pleasant scent. It does have some grit to it, which is supposed to help exfoliate dead skin, but it didn’t do much in that regard. For someone with oily, normal or combination skin, it would probably do a nice job of exfoliating and smoothing. Still, I would purchase this again. I find most body washes to be drying but this one is lovely and does not strip my skin. -

Chick Advisor gave me the opportunity to test Aveeno Positively Radiant Body lotion for free. I was excited to try it because I have used Aveeno products before and have always been happy with them. This one did not disappoint. I have been applying the lotion after patting my skin dry after showering. It sinks in so quickly and feels soothing. My skin loves it and feels and looks much softer. I will buy this product as soon as my sample bottle runs out. Great stuff! -

The first thing I noticed upon applying this leave-in mask was that is sank into my skin immediately. Some products feels as though they sit on top of my skin, so this was quite nice!
My skin tends to get clogged pores really easily so I was pleased to see this product did not seem to exacerbate that.
I have been using this for two weeks and am pleased with it. My skin is not as dry in the morning and it feels more smooth and settled.

I chose to share with my kids and the consensus between the three of us was that these bars are a hit! We loved the cashews and caramel and thought it was cool to have that flavour combination that was so different from our usual brand. I will certainly buy these on our next shopping trip.

Chick Advisor gave me the opportunity to try these bars for free. I shared with my two kids and this is what we thought. The texture and taste were fantastic. We found that although they were more lightweight than our usual brand of granola bars, they were a bit more filling, most likely because of the protein in the almonds. We will definitely buy these on our next grocery shopping trip. -

Thanks to Chick Advisor I was able to try this cream for free. I have very dry skin that gets tight and itchy and generally irritates me on a daily basis. I own an obscene number of lotions and creams.
Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Cream has a decadent texture and a light, clean scent. It feels soothing and my skin drinks it up. I find a little goes a long way and my skin stays hydrated for hours longer than it does with my usual brand. I am absolutely converted. This product is fantastic!

Upon opening the primer, I noticed it looked thinner than my usual primer and had some shine to it. I also wonder why, for hygiene reasons, it was in a jar rather than a tube or bottle.
I used the primer and found it quite moisturizing but it also made my skin look shiny. Since I primarily use primer to get rid of shine, this was a little disappointing. After applying a quick dusting of loose powder, the shine was gone.
While I did enjoy the quenched feeling it gave my skin, this is not a product I would purchase.

I was given the opportunity to try a full-size bottle of La Roche-Posay Micellar Water for Reactive Skin for free from Chick Advisor. It did an excellent job of taking off my makeup including my long-wearing mascara without irritating my skin. It felt lovely and soothing. The only thin I did not like about it was that it felt as if it left a film on my skin. I ended up rinsing with water so that my moisturizer could be properly absorbed. I would certainly purchase this again since it did not leave my skin dry and flaky like most cleansers do. -
