The packaging of the NYC city proof anti-redness primer is quite nice - sleek, simple colours. There is 1oz product which is a good size. The primer itself is very liquid, comes out green but spreads out totally sheer, so I'm not really buying the anti-redness aspect. It feels very moisturizing and isn't sticky at all. It does seem to have a bit of a blurring effect. It isn't a terrible product, but I'm not just not seeing the anti-redness. -
Physicians formula the healthy foundation
I'm someone who likes medium to full coverage, so I probably should have known that this foundation wouldn't be for me, but I wanted to try it anyway. My instinct was right - this is really light coverage. The shade range leaves much to be desired... +
I'm someone who likes medium to full coverage, so I probably should have known that this foundation wouldn't be for me, but I wanted to try it anyway. My instinct was right - this is really light coverage. The shade range leaves much to be desired (although typical for Physician's Formula) and despite this, I found the lightest shade just a bit too dark for me. There is no pump, but it has this weird concealer-like applicator that doesn't seem to hold much product so you have to keep going back to dip into the bottle. Not sure how sanitary it is. What's more, this foundation will run you about $20! Sure, that's typical of Physician's Formula pricing, which has always been a bit more steep for drugstore, but still. Just not worth it for me. -

I've been debating on which palette from the Too Faced peach collection to buy. Finally I decided on the Just Peachy mattes palette, and I'm so glad I did! The colours are stunning and blend quite well. There are so many great looks you can make with this palette! The packaging is great, it comes in a sturdy plastic case and has a cute little magnetic closure featuring little peaches. It has a really nice, big mirror. I was a bit worried about the smell, because some people have said they don't like it. I personally don't find the smell is strong at all - I barely smell it. It is just a pleasant, light peachy scent that dissipates quickly. These are all matte shades, of course, but you can make tons of looks with it, and it does have a variety of light shades, transition shades and darker shades, but no black. All in all, a great palette that I would recommend! -

A lot of pencils have a red tint to their browns, but this one is more cool-toned brown. On the other side of the pencil is a short spoolie. This type of spoolie is not my personal favourite - I find it too short - but it still does the job. I feel like the colour stayed on all day and I'll use it again, but not my favourite. -

I had never heard of powdered peanut butter before, but I'm so glad I found this product! Peanut butter tends to have a lot of sugar and fat with a high calorie count. This powdered peanut butter allows you to avoid that! It tastes great, and you can even adjust the consistency to your liking. I use it in my overnight oats, in shakes and in sauces. In the picture, I made a peanut sauce for my noodles. -
