I recieved this product for free from Chick Advisor for my honest review. I have been using this toothpaste for 2 weeks now. I love the flavour and colour. Its not been long enough to see any significant improvement on my teeth colour or sensitivity yet. However, I'm happy to see that it does not have a gritty texture like baking soda ones, and doesn't cause reactions due to harsh chemicals in other whitening toothpastes. It is well liked by my family as well

I got to try these for free through product tester club. I am not the biggest fan of the Quaker Crispy Minis Gluten-Free Original Rice Cakes because they don't really have a flavor. I guess they're good if you're looking for a low calorie snack and then you can put some sort of topping, jam or maybe guac on it but by itself this isn't a fantastic tasting product but you can make it taste better. I guess it is a diet food so you can't really hope for much fun there. -

I got the opportunity to try and review Schmidt's Bergamot + Lime Natural Deodorant thanks to ChickAdvisor. I loved it! I can honestly say that this is the best one I have ever used. The scent is very calming and refreshing. It's so much better than the overly synthetic and floral ones I have tried before. I especially like the texture of it. It's a little gritty, hasn't stained my clothes and spreads easily. I'm a fan of the texture, and the better ingredients. I really dislike the sticky gel texture of other brands I tried before, so Shmidt's is really nice. I also can say that this can handle intense days- I used this during a very stressful couple of days and it stood up well to the rush. Ok, TMI, sometimes I get very sweaty in stressful situations, and then am extra self conscious because previous gel deodorants have started to smell... off? Which causes more stress, and more sweating! But this Bergamot and lime one did its job well, and made my day better. I am a huge fan, and think this is definitely a keeper. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other scents when this one finishes. -

I got an opportunity to try and review the new Sobeys grocery delivery service- Viola and received a $25 off $100 purchase through ChickAdvisor for this review. The new service sends grocery items from their warehouse, so it included items from various Sobey's stores- FarmBoy, Freshco and their Complements line. This was great because I didn't need to go to different stores for the products I wanted. I ordered things through the website yesterday evening for delivery this morning. The delivery was on time, the person was friendly and everything was extremely fresh, and the cold things were the perfect temperature. I was quite impressed because all the items that needed to be refrigerated were in bags with different coloured handles, and normally things melt a little in my car, so delivery was much better! There were some changes from normal - the person said there could be no returns, and if anything was wrong with the order, the cost of that would be credited to the next purchase, and that they normally take the plastic bags back for recycling during a subsequent order. I am very impressed with the quick service, the fact that everything I wanted was included, no mistakes were made, and how clear the pricing for delivery was ($7.99 showed on each timeslot when picking delivery). The website had pictures for all the things, which was great.
Now for some of the things that weren't as great- the website itself was somewhat frustrating. Searching for an item didn't automatically give me all the results from all the stores on the same page. I had to click on different tabs- Shop Home, or Complements, or FarmBoy or Freshco,or Well.ca and search for the same item multiple times to see the best price. I don't want to waste time trying to search through all the tabs, everything relevant should just come up on the same page regardless since it is all coming from the same warehouse anyway. I did find it hard to navigate and find certain items. I also wish that it was possible to see all the sale items based on the store instead of just on the shop home page. I don't really see the point in having multiple tabs if they don't also allow for the same search options. Additionally, it seems like there is a significantly smaller selection of items available online vs in store. I found the selection of international foods especially limited. Even basic fresh herbs like cilantro were only available in extremely small packs for way more than a regular bunch of cilantro. I did like that there was an option to see things by price and also by comparative price/100 grams, so I didn't need to calculate it myself. I realized that I ordered the wrong size of butter when it was delivered, that was my fault for picking the wrong size, but I wish the font for the product quantity was larger. Other issues included not receiving Airmiles points like I would for buying in store at Sobeys, not being able to use Sobeys gift cards for the transaction, and obviously no price matching like at Freshco.
Overall, this is a good service for quick nextday delivery of basic products. I feel like the $7.99 delivery fee is too high even with the minimum $50 order. I would have expected a lower shipping cost, or a credit towards the next purchase. I can see myself using it if I am returning from a trip and don't want to stop at the store, or if I want to send something to my parents. I don't think I will use it for my usual shopping trips though, because it was too expensive, and I much prefer earning airmiles at Sobeys, or pricematching at Freshco, or picking up fresh bakery products from Farmboy.

I got a chance to try the tea tree and velvetier conditioner for free thanks to ChickAdvisor, and I really love it! This is full of goodness and is very environmentally conscious- an amazing scent, no dyes/silicone/parabens, and has a small carbon footprint. It helps with acne, and is just so refreshing. I love how the entire bathroom smells like this, it's like a lovely, fragrant hug.
Even my boyfriend was compelled to compliment the scent!
I let my mom try it, and actually stole this and the body wash and conditioner from me because she loves it too. I just can't find this scent in stores and that makes me sad. Please don't discontinue it! I could use this for the rest of my life happily.

I got a chance to try the Cashew, Salted Caramel, Dark Chocolate Powerbar for free thanks to ChickAdvisor, and I thought it was decent. High protein. relatively healthy ingredients and easy to grab and go make this a convenient thing to keep in my bag. I love that it's got protein from plant-based ingredients and nuts, and no artificial flavours, colours, or sweeteners. However, I didn't like the caramel- it would have been nice to have a dried fruit instead. With this one too, I did find the sugar to be higher than I like, so I only ate half at a time. The flavour combination tastes great with a hot, unsweetened coffee. I really liked the fact that this did not have the chalky texture other protein heavy bars have. Unfortunately, this is too expensive to make it a staple purchase.

I got a chance to try the Almond, Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Powerbar, and I thought it was decent. High protein. relatively healthy ingredients and easy to grab and go make this a convenient thing to keep in my bag. However, I did find the sugar to be higher than I like, so I only ate half at a time. The flavour combination tastes great with a hot, unsweetened coffee. I got a chance to try the Aveeno Ultra Calming Hydrating Gel Cleanser, and I thought it was pretty good. This is nice to use at the end of an overwhelming day because it has no fragrance- sometimes that is such a nice part of a night routine. I didn't really feel like it moisturized my skin or helped even the skin tone. But it was still worth it.
