I received this product from the product review club. I received the "taupe temptress" palette, and the "spirited seas" palette. Overall these palettes are beautiful I love how each colour in each palette compliment each other. One can easily achieve the look they are going for with just using one palette.
I am of a tan complexion and I found that the color payoff was not bad. I had to use repeatedly use my brush to achieve the pigmentation that I desired. The textures of these eye shadows are amazing, it is like touching velvet. One thing that I do caution other users are that these are "lustre finishes", meaning they have A LOT of sparkles. Hence you will get fall out and if you careful with your application you can end up looking like a disco ball. Also I would caution those who consider themselves "older", as the sparkles may go into your fine lines and wrinkles and possibly cause a "aging look". Another thing I want to add is that these shadows blend beautifully, its almost as like your are working with cream shadows.
I was able to create a more of a "romantic" type of look with these eye shadows. Because the pigmentation on my skin is not that strong. So for me I was able to create a soft but sexy look for everyday. Which a did receive A LOT of compliments on. I attempted to create a more dramatic smoky look, but was unsuccessful because of the mess it makes with all the glitter fall out.
Overall I would recommend these shadows for those who are beginners who want to get into more of a colourful look but don't want to be too dramatic.

So I also received the free product coupon like everyone else. So I went to Shoppers to pick it up. Surprise surprise its $10.00! I mean its not that big of a bottle. So I was surprised at the price. But I picked it up and went home to try it, and thats when I became impressed! This stuff is so SMOOOTH! It smells amazing (I got the botanical one), and it lasts a very long time, keeping your skin hydrated! I woke up the next morning, (12hours later!) and my skin was so soft! It felt like I had silk stockings on.
My recommendation is if you have the money, go pick it up!

I wear bare minerals make-up, and I love the weightlessness of the makeup but I find that its staying power is weak...photo finish helps keep my makeup on for 8-10 hours. ITS AWESOME...plus the texture of the product is great, its light weight, and makes my skin feel smooth. My only suggestions to those girls who don't like the greasiness of it on your hands is to use a foundation brush. I find i can put it on evenly without getting residue on my hands. -

Cheaper meaning under 100.00...this is still 35$...anyways I have been using this...and I kind of see a difference, but NOT MUCH...it requires too much dedication, and I find that its not practicle. The mascara alone does not give you enough WOW factor to wear it alone, I always feel like I need to use another one on top...too me that it already too many steps for every day. Also, god forbid you ever rub your eyes...you end up with this huge smudge of this stuff, and you get the lovely racoon eyes. So ladies just save your money.

MAC Cosmetics Eyeshadow
OK so I know mac eyeshadow is expensive, but for those who can afford it...its worth every penny. They last forever, and the colour payoff is GREAT. I love that there are different textures and finishes to them, and they blend wonderfully.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Its the perfect coverage (medium). I enjoy that I don't feel my make up. I get sooo many compliments about my SKIN, and not the makeup....people say "oh your skin looks amazing today"...i just don't tell them... +

The only negative is that it can be time consuming at first, but as you get better with your application you can get it done pretty quickly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! -

I really like this mascara...the wand is really amazing but i find that you need 2 coats to great really really dramatic lashs. I also find that it drys out quickly...which is diappointing...but I guess it makes me get rid of my mascara sooner... +
