I was ecstatic to receive this fry pan as I’ve been in the market to replace an old “nonstick” (but not actually nonstick because it’s terrible) pan. I’ve been using this fry pan from Paderno for the last week and I’ve officially gotten rid of the old one! 👋
This pan feels incredibly well crafted, with the perfect amount of weight to really be able to control what you’re cooking without feeling too heavy to move it around. I love that the silicone handle does not get hot and it truly is perfectly nonstick, even with things like fish or scrambled eggs. Speaking of, I’ve cooked eggs, seared meat, caramelized onions and so much more with this pan and everything comes out perfect. The aluminum base provides such an even heat distribution that it’s hard to mess anything up.
You can also sear meat and finish it off in the oven as this is oven safe up to 400°F – something I’ve never been able to do with my previous pan. The finish of this pan, ✨champagne bronze✨, is so modern-looking and really pretty that I’m trying to resist the urge to buy the whole set. My favourite part about this pan is how incredibly easy it is to clean. It is marked as hand wash only but honestly it takes just a minute to get it cleaned up, even from a messy meal (I made gravy in it last night!)
This pan has quickly become an essential in my kitchen and I reach for this daily! 😘👌

This is such a fantastic body cream! Use this at night and wake up to softer skin, thanks to the gentle exfoliation. I was initially a little worried as it’s a very rich cream but it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave behind any greasiness or residue. I get bumpy skin on the backs of my arms, especially in the winter so I’m hoping this will help clear up that roughness. I do wish the container was larger because it’s a body product but I’ve only been using this on areas like my elbows, knees and the backs of my arms so it will last for a while. This is free of fragrance, parabens and dyes. Very happy to see some initial results from using this cream for the last week and can’t wait to put it to the ultimate winter test!

Skin Therapy Balm💙
Oats, oats, oats! This lotion has a Triple Oat formula consisting of extract, oil and colloidal oatmeal, rounded out with ceramides. This would be excellent for eczema or irritations, though I find the name of the product doesn’t give a good representation of the texture. It’s referred to as a balm but it’s more of a soft lotion and absorbs quickly. For eczema patches, I think this would benefit from having a thick balm layered on top for optimal protection overnight. I was pleasantly surprised to see it did help soothe irritation very quickly. This is also hypoallergenic and free of all those things that should be avoided for sensitive skin: fragrance, dyes, alcohol and more. This is also a steroid-free formula!

Nourishing PHA Exfoliator💙
This is the perfect starter exfoliant for someone with sensitive skin! The hypoallergenic formula is fragrance free and uses polyhydroxy acid to gently remove dead skin cells, showing a more even complexion. This is gentle enough for everyday use (it’s not abrasive at all, the texture is really creamy!) and has oat oil to hydrate and support the skin barrier. I personally prefer exfoliating twice a week so this may be too gentle for me but this would be fantastic for those who are hesitant of exfoliants, especially because of sensitivities. In addition to being hypoallergenic, it’s non-comedogenic and free of parabens, alcohol, dyes, sulfates and phthalates.

Experience
Talk about innovative! This serum is like 3 serums in one with a triple chamber for each potent ingredient, only touching when you dispense them into your hand for application. The packaging is so luxe and eye catching, it stands out on my skincare shelf. I also love the pump, it dispenses smoothly. Two pumps is all you need for your whole face!
I did originally have an issue with getting all three serums to dispense so if that happens to you, turn it upside down and give it a couple hard shakes to remove air pockets – the hyaluronic acid serum naturally has microbubbles which may accumulate in the chamber.
The texture on this product is slightly oily on application but quickly “dries” into a beautiful, velvet-y feel and leaves just a small hint of tackiness but no stickiness. It does have a perfumed scent (fragrance/parfum is listed as the last ingredient) but I find that it disappears once the serum dries down and isn’t bothersome at all.
We should talk about the elephant in the room – yes, this is a luxury product and comes with a luxury price tag. Personally, I think this is worth the splurge or birthday wishlist if you’re in the market for an anti-aging serum. My skin is looking plump and smooth lately!

As a mom to kids with large-ish age gaps, sometimes I have a difficult time finding toys that aren’t too baby-like for my 11 year old but still simple enough that it’ll hold my 4 year old’s attention. We’re very big into pretend play and love the fact that there’s two figures so they each have a character to play with.
The star of the show here (sorry, Batman!) is the Batcycle that transforms into the Bat-Quadcopter, equipped with Batgrenades. Rest assured, Killer Croc got a chance to ride the Batcycle too. Both kids enjoyed this, though my 11 year old claimed it as his toy after it was all said and done.
I do wish both Batman and Killer Croc fit on the Batcycle a bit better, it was almost as if their legs weren’t shaped for proper fitting. The joints on Batman are also very stiff. We appreciated the inclusion of an actual cape – if you know action figures, sometimes they have a hard, plastic cape which is less fun!
I’d pick up this fun set as a birthday present for any child who likes playing with action figures (especially Batman!) and has an active imagination.

I am a big fan of hydrocolloid patches and these are an excellent choice if you're looking to try some out. They're marketed as overnight patches but I find them discreet enough to be worn during the day (for reference, I'm wearing one in this photo on top of makeup!) These help to soak up fluid inside of blemishes and I think they work best on pimples that already have a white head or tip on them.
These patches come in two sizes: 9mm and 12mm for optimal coverage and protect your skin from unwanted picking and itching, which can lead to scarring.
These patches are formulated without parabens, sulfates, dyes, fragrances and latex, making them a fantastic option for most! I normally notice a small ring around most patches after extended or overnight use but I did not notice it with these. They stuck remarkably well and I didn't think they were overly thick.
Super impressed with these and I noticed they're available on Amazon Canada for under $10 for a box of 40, so I'll definitely be stocking up!

This is not my first time trying out Bai, I’ve been a fan of this caffeinated beverage for a while now. Admittedly, I don’t think I’ve ever tried this coconut flavour before (I’m obsessed with the Costa Rica Clementine flavour) so this was a really nice change of pace. I’ve been really into tropical vibes lately and this drink definitely delivers, feeling like I’m laying on a beach and drinking out of a coconut. Even the scent of this is fantastic!
This beverage is infused with vitamin E and polyphenols and contains no artificial colours or flavours. It truly is the perfect summer time drink to make you feel like you’ve been transported to paradise! It may not dethrone Costa Rica Clementine but it’s a formidable opponent.
Real question: should I try this out in the slushy cup?

I love that you can choose between a regular brew or a bolder taste, even when you're programming the machine with a timer, truly customizing your morning cup of coffee. I did find setting the timer a little difficult, this will definitely be a “consult the manual” for your first couple of times. I love the fact that it has a reusable built in filter!
The design of this machine is super sleek and it all fits really nicely in my kitchen where I’m pressed for precious counter space. Brew up to 12 cups or as little as 2 cups (perfect for a large mug). The keep warm function is fantastic. I know most machines have this but it truly does keep the coffee piping hot. I add more than a splash of creamer to my coffee and I find that it doesn't affect the temperature of the "keep warm" coffee like other machines.
The biggest downside I experienced is how precise you need to be with filling the water reservoir. If you set the machine for 2-4 cups but fill the reservoir to 6 (because who else has an issue eyeballing that line when you’re exhausted at 7AM?), it’ll just empty the entire thing in the brewing process, which makes the 2-4 function ineffective. Any water you refill will dispense while the machine is on the keep warm function. Not a huge issue unless you make a full pot of coffee and then try to be proactive and immediately fill up the reservoir for the next morning… ask me how I know. I should’ve paused the machine and had a mid-brew cup (because yes, this is possible!) before trying to be eager for the next morning, oops.
Overall, this is a lovely coffee machine that brews an exceptional carafe full of coffee (or just a single cup) as long as you use it exactly as intended and are precise with how you’re using it. Not sure if we’ll switch back to our old machine just yet as I’ve been loving the extra counter space and really, really love the excellent 2 hour warm function.
