Cheese & Grain Frome
I frequent the Cheese and Grain in Frome, Somerset often as it’s a great little centre in the main car park in Frome who open daily for all sorts of events.....food shows, comedy sessions, music venue, exhibitions, various sale days eg records... +
I frequent the Cheese and Grain in Frome, Somerset often as it’s a great little centre in the main car park in Frome who open daily for all sorts of events.....food shows, comedy sessions, music venue, exhibitions, various sale days eg records etc. It has its own locally sourced food cafe (wonderful cakes!) and a bar which opens for events. Easy parking and a real community venue. Small enough for nice intimate shows but big enough to be rocking! I’ve seen many bands there from The Blockheads to The Specials to Dreadzone to Wish bone Ash.
Cracking venue in the loveliest of towns!

I was gifted this as a friend uses it regularly. For me it felt slimy on application though did soak in after a while. Unperfumed so good for those with sensitive skin. Seemed to go a long way but found little difference in effects. Just not for me... +

At £30 a pot I was willing to try CBD to see if it helps either or both. The pot is small, smells of cannabis but is Vaseline like in texture so goes a long way. For pain relief, for me it eases those painful aches and pains and definitely eases the itching skin. A pot usually lasts me 6 months and I use it daily. Just rub a small bit in where needed. Great as a moisturiser too so highly recommend.

I found this many years ago and bought a small bottle mainly because I love the shape of it, very stylish! However I also love the fragrance, it’s light, clean, slightly floral and lasts for a long time before you need to reapply. A little more expensive than I’d usually pay but I try and get this at duty free when on holiday as it’s often a lot cheaper.
This also comes in a miniature bottle with lots of the other JPG fragrances which is a great way to try them. Also packing is neat on the big bottle, a can which can be recycled or used again for something.

Baileys Salted Caramel
Well, I am in love! This drink is absolute lush. If you love Baileys, you will lurve this! We paid £10 at duty free which of course is cheap, however I’d pay £15 for the litre bottle. It’s seriously rich but perfect for Christmas in a glass!

I’ve visited here on a couple of occasions when in the area giving them the benefit of the doubt the second time. A town centre hotel cum pub cum restaurant with extortionate prices, mediocre expensive food, and very rude staff. Menu is good but the food is mediocre...we had cold uncooked chips, they’d run out of three wines and took over half an hour to bring us a coffee, then lied about it! Emailed the landlady twice and she failed to acknowledge or apologise. Steer clear! -

What can I say? A little thatched roof pub in the older part of Cheddar away from the tourist stuff. Very friendly staff and locals who are keen to interact with the grockels! No food served , though you may if you are lucky get a cheese and onion... +

No food served , though you may if you are lucky get a cheese and onion or ham roll freshly made. Great choice of drinks including a guest ale at reasonable prices unlike other similar places in the tourist bit. Dog friendly. Children friendly and with a car park to pull up in camper van with Britstop. Highly recommend -

I treated myself to this hand cream, not cheap as creams go but not overly expensive. Lovely fragrance to it but it do find it a little greasy. However that doesn’t put me off, it’s soothes my dry chapped hands well and they feel much softer... +

Yes I would however I will also try other hand creams to see if I like one better. -

I was gifted this and boy is it good! Luxury IG hot team, gorgeous smell and really effective sinking into the skin brilliantly. Loving the fact that it’s in a glass jar so good for recycling and the planet ...full of lovely natural ingredients... +

Loving the fact that it’s in a glass jar so good for recycling and the planet ...full of lovely natural ingredients . Will deffo continue to use after I’ve used this jar up, albeit a little costly but well worth the extra expense. Comes in one size but has lasted me 6 months so far and I’ve still got a third left.

I started using this about a year ago and the muck I get off my skin after normal cleansing is amazing. Lovely smelling product that really makes you skin feel fresh and clean. Using once daily, a bottle lasts me for months and now I’ve found it, it’s unlikely I will switch brands as it’s excellent value, lovely and economical to use and a joy to have such fresh skin afterwards as it’s non drying too! -
