The PowerBar Plant Protein Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar are bars made with crispy rice like pieces and have a thin layer of chocolate on the bottom and chocolate drizzled on the top. The chocolate on these bars is very thin compared to the chocolate layers on granola bars that I have tried in the past.
I like that each bar contains 10 g of protein as I have been trying to incorporate more protein into my diet. The bars are also really handy to grab on the go.
The bars are a great option for people who are on a vegan diet as they do not use whey protein which is what you often find in protein bars.
I got to try three different flavours of these bars and this was my favorite flavour of the three. I think part of the reason I like these bars is because I like peanut butter and regularly eat peanut butter flavoured protein bars. I was so excited to have the opportunity to try got2b Head Turner hair colour by Schwarzkopf in the colour Candy Cotton. I had seen this in the drug store and it seemed like a great way to have a fun hair colour without the commitment of actually dying your hair. I thought this was going to be perfect for me as I have a professional job where pink hair would reduce my credibility.
The product is a liquid that comes in a spray bottle with the instructions indicating that you are supposed to spray the product on damp or dry hair, dab away any excess product and then comb through your hair to evenly distribute the product and then blow dry for a soft finish.
The first day that I tried this product I sprayed it on damp hair combed it through my hair and then blow dried it. I found that my hair had a faint tinge of pink depending on the light but did not look at all like the girl's hair on the front of the box. The next day I sprayed the product on dry hair to try to build up the colour, combed it through and then blow dried my hair. This resulted in my hair having more of a pink colour but still not as pink as the girl's hair on the front of the box. I used about half of the bottle between both applications.
After application and blow drying my hair felt like it was full of a lot of dry shampoo so it really didn't leave my hair touchable or manageable.
While my hair is a darker blonde colour than the model on the front of the box I found that I never achieved anywhere near as pink of a colour as the model on the box and I wasn't able to achieve an even colour throughout my hair.
At the end of day 2 I took a tissue and rubbed my hair and found that the pink colour came off on the tissue. I didn't want to risk having the pink colour come off on my pillow case when I slept so I took a shower and as soon as my hair got wet all of the colour washed right out. This was really disappointing as the product was supposed to last up to 3 shampoos and I had expected that it would wear out gradually, not wash out as soon as it got wet.
If you plan to use this product make sure that you do not go anywhere where your hair might get wet (or use it on a rainy day) otherwise you might end up with pink colour running out of your hair. You'll also want to make sure that you are careful when you put on your clothing to make sure that you don't allow it to touch your hair otherwise you will risk transferring the hair colour onto your clothing.
Overall I have to say that this is a gimmick product that really did not work for me. I would have much preferred using an aerosol spray product that would have given me a lot more even coverage and that I would have known was a one-time use product that I would wash out at the end of the night.

Finally made the trip to Ulta in the US to purchase this and so glad that I did. I have fairly dark under eye circles and have struggled to find a concealer that would cover them up. Tried Shape Tape for the first time the other day and was so impressed with how much coverage I got and the fact that it lasted all day. This will be my go to under eye concealer from now on. -

As soon as the SCM is released it is my go to drink and I will continue to drink it until they run out of the salt as the drink is not the same without the salt.
First drank the SCM when I was on holidays in New York with a friend and it always brings back memories of that trip.
If you haven't tried one you really need to as this is the best Starbucks drink I have ever had.

This is my absolute favorite mascara ever. First received it as a gift with purchase from Lancôme and now it has become my favorite mascara to use.
The first time I used it a male colleague of mine asked what was different about me as the mascara made that much of a difference to my regular look. This mascara added so much length and volume to my lashes.
This mascara may be more expensive than the drug store mascaras but you can often get it in a bundle with eye make-up remover and eyeliner or gift with purchase or both.

Just recently made a trip to Ulta in the US in order to buy this CC Cream as I had been hearing so many great things about it and it does not disappoint. This definitely lives up to all the hype and is a great foundation substitute for summer especially as it has SPF 50.
It offers great coverage and really evens out skin tone but is very light on the skin. This will be my go to for the summer months.

This is the absolute best eye make-up remover I have ever used. I originally received it as a gift with purchase from Lancôme and have been using it ever since. You do not have to use much to get your eye-makeup off and it removes all make-up without a lot of rubbing on your eyes. Very gentle to use and excellent results.
Recently recommended this to a friend who had been using eye make-up remover wipes and now this is her go to make-up remover as well.
It is a little more expensive than drugstore eye make-up removers but it is well worth it and you can often buy it and get a gift with purchase from Lancôme.
