I started trying Swiss Natural Cholessterol capsules a week ago. I take 2 capsules daily with meals. I like that they are gluten-free, and easy to swallow. I haven’t suffered any side effects but I am not sure if they have reduced my cholesterol. I guess I will find out next week after I do my blood test. -

The used a patch on a new pimple that appeared 2 days after I received the sample. The new pimple was pretty red and swollen. After using the patch overnight, the swelling was reduced but a slight redness was still there. Eventually it diasappeared later in the day. I think the clear patches are the best invention and I prefer using them over zit cream.

I was given three packages of EsopH from Butterly in exchange for a review. I think the idea of a gel instead of a tablet is interesting. However, you have to be quite diligent not to eat and drink anything for a period of time or else the “barrier” created on your esophagus will wash away. First thing I did not like was the taste. Second is that it did not help my acid reflux. In fact, it felt like it made it worse and I chose not to continue. I think I will be sticking to taking pepcid prior to eating or drinking anything that would trigger my reflux. -

I received two samples of Sambucol gummies for free to try in exchange of a review. I am a fan of vita gummies because I find them easier to ingest and I am more willing to take them on a daily basis. To test the effectiveness of this product would be difficult with four gummies so I needed to determine whether I would buy a full bottle basis on taste. Well, the flavour was not my favorite. Maybe I don’t like black elderberry but I found it sour and it left a weird aftertaste. I suppose if it’s to taste bad, it does work.

I received a free sample of the Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil and decided to try it as part of my evening skin routine. The consistency was quite runny as expected on a cleansing oil and it had a pleasant scent. It seemed to remove my makeup but I wouldn’t use it alone as I would need to follow up with a foam cleanser. I received this product as a sample and tried it as part of my early morning routine. Upon opening the package, I noticed the scent was different. It did smell like a plant but not floral. It’s not bad or overpowering, just different and one I wouldn’t choose. The cream itself was thicker than I thought but it did apply smoothly. The sample contained a sufficient amount to cover my entire face. I noticed that my skin felt slightly sticky. That feeling didn’t really disappear until maybe a couple of hours after I had put it on. Nevertheless, my skin pretty much stayed moisturized. I likely wouldn’t purchase it myself again unless I had to or it was on sale, as I would have a tough time giving up on my Korean skincare products, but I would recommend to anyone with skin on the dry side seeking all day moisturizing. -
