An affordable and good overall drugstore clay mask. It helped to minimize my pores without drying out my skin. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth. It did little for my acne but it did help calm my skin down. It has a light refreshing lemony mint scent that feels slightly cooling on the skin. A great wakeup call in the morning if you have a bit of time on your hands a perfect pick-me-up at night for tired skin. -

For a drugstore facial scrub, I like that it’s 100% naturally sourced exfoliants. If you are a coffee fan, this product doesn’t disappoint. It has a strong coffee scent that I love so much. Just a small squeezed amount of the product onto your fingertips and massage into damp skin. Working in circular motions, applying gentle pressure on the skin for a morning pick me up. Just make sure you avoid the eyes as it can really irritate. The texture of this product is gritty as a face scrub should be but it feels more emollient than the apricot scrub. Left my skin soft, smooth, fresh and glowy. Skin felt slightly dry afterwards but nothing your toner and moisturizers can’t take care of afterwards. -

I remember this product when I was a teenager and the fact that it’s still around shows you that this product has stood out the test of time. It has 100% natural exfoliants and apricot extract. A little goes a long way but use gentle pressure as this scrub is pretty harsh on the skin. I’m not sure if it really removed my blackheads as I didn’t notice much of difference. This product left my skin feeling soft and fresh. I have dry skin and my face did feel drier after using this but nothing that toner or moisturizers couldn’t take care of. -

that gently exfoliates the skin. I got it on clearance for $5 CAD (regular price was $17) so that was amazing! There isn’t much of a scent to this product. The exfoliators in this cleanser are gentle enough on your skin and it didn’t dry out it out like most drugstore skin exfoliators did like St. Ives ones. It left my skin soft and hydrated. Though it’s still an exfoliator, I would just use it twice a week.

This skin cream has a very thick but has this gel-like consistency that makes it light as it melts into the skin and doesn't leave it feeling sticky at all. It really packs a punch and indeed plumps up the skin, leaving it feeling rejuvenated and hydrated afterwards. I also love using it in my night-time routine as a sleep mask for extra punch of hydration. -

This is one of the most least expensive anti-wrinkle creams I had ever purchased. I think the quality of this cream is pretty decent. It absorbs into the skin right away leaving it soft, plump, and moisturized. A little goes a long way as it's slightly on the runny side. The only downside about this cream and about the Pond’s Skincare Line is that their products are heavily scented. If you don’t like heavy perfumes in your skincare products, then this product isn’t for you. -

The scent of this cream isn't the best, for me I don't like that bubblegum smell but it isn't intrusive or anything. -

I've been using Thayers toner since in my early 20s. It's one of my go to toners that I cannot live without. I know there are a lot people who don't like this toner either because product reacts to their skin by drying it out or breaking them out. It does contain witch hazel but I haven't had any type of reaction to my skin with this particular scent. It has a beautiful, subtle but calming rose scent. It's a toner that basically gets the job done. It removes impurities and tightens the skin. Although it doesn't really moisturize all that much, it doesn't completely dry out my skin. My skin is left soft and smooth. -

I first found this toner at my local dollar store. I remember seeing this brand at my local drugstore and thought I'd give it a try. This is one of my go to toners that I cannot live without. It is 100% alcohol-free and perfect for sensitive skin. It contains no artificial perfumes or colours, and no harsh chemicals on your skin. However, this toner does contain ingredients like Pro-Vitamin B5, Chamomile, Witch Hazel, and Allantoin and has a nice fresh sweet scent. It helps remove any residue off of the skin after cleansing and helps restore your skin's pH balance. My skin feels soft and hydrated afterwards. -

I love this classic cleansing cream by NOXZEMA. This was my staple cleanser when I was a teenager and as I got older in my 20s, 30s, and now 40s, it seems to be a cleanser I keep reaching for again and again! You have no idea how many tubs I've gone through over my lifetime already! First off I love the smell of this fresh, menthol-scent it has going for it. After you wash your face it feels fresh, clean and tingly. It doesn't strip your skin of its natural oils either and leaves it feeling soft and well-hydrated. Standing the test of time, this cleanser cannot be beat! Love it so much! -
