I cannot say how much I love Sun Bum sunscreen! I am very fair and burn super easily, so I am always on the lookout for a great sunscreen. One thing that I have learned over the years is that you get what you pay for. Yes, Sun Bum is a bit pricey, but it is totally worth it! The smell is AMAZING! It's like a cross between a coconut and banana scent? I get compliments about the scent every single time that I wear it. Application is super smooth, it goes on more like a lotion than a traditional sunscreen. It covers well without leaving any residue, greasiness, or white cast. I can go out in the sun and not worry about burning! I have yet to get a sunburn while wearing this sunblock. It really is my current favourite sunblock and I'm looking forward to trying out the rest of their line. I have already recommended it to all my family and friends. -

They're not just for cleaning your ears, I like to use them for cleaning up smeared eye make up and nail polish. They're even great for household cleaning around faucets. I always have a box of Q-tips in my house! -

I received the Pureté Thermale Skin Renewal Creamy Scrub from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was super excited to try it, as I normally don't use higher end products. I was honestly shocked that the small-ish bottle of scrub is listed at $29.95! At that price, I would never consider buying it. I have used it several times since I received it in the mail and didn't find it any more or less effective than the cheaper scrubs that I have used in the past. It's scent isn't too overpowering and doesn't last long after rinsing. It does apply well and is easy to massage onto my skin. I like that the micro-beads are environmentally friendly. It did seem to polish my skin well, but not well enough to justify the price. While it is a pretty good product, I will definitely not buy it when my bottle runs out. -

I received the Pureté Thermale Fresh Cleansing Gel from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This is the first Vichy product that I have ever tried, so I was really excited to see how it worked. I have mixed feelings about the cleanser though. The price was a bit on the high side for me, being listed at $19.95, but not a total deal breaker. I did like how it foamed up so easily when it was applied. The scent was neither here nor there for me, kind of a weird cosmetic smell? Not great, but not horrible either. It was very effective at removing makeup and cleansing my face and didn't make me breakout, which was nice. I did, however, find it very drying. My skin felt really pulled after I used it, which left me feeling oily later in the day. This was odd, as I have never had this reaction with my regular cleanser. I will definitely continue to use it until the bottle is gone, but I'm undecided if I will repurchase. It was just an "okay" cleanser for me. -

I received the Pureté Thermale Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover for free from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I must say, it is very effective! The product itself is really pretty in the packaging, which is kind of fun. I didn't notice any scent, which is nice as my eyes are very sensitive to harshly scented products. I applied it using a cotton makeup pad and was impressed that a little bit of product went a long way. It removed every last bit of eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara that I had applied. The price seemed a little bit steep to me when I first received it, it is listed at $19.95, but now that I have used it I think it's totally worth it. I can see myself re-purchasing when this bottle runs out. It is definitely a high quality product that I will recommend to family and friends. -

I am in love with Essence Make Me Brow! I have it in the brown shade and it matches my eyebrows perfectly. I tend to have unruly brows and was looking for a affordable product to help me shape & fill them in. At the low price of $3.99 at Shopper's Drugmart, you can't go wrong!
Applying the product is really easy. The applicator brush is small so you can maneuver it well to fill in any gaps. I find that it provides a nice light coverage and definition so I look manicured, but natural at the same time. I think that it's a great product and will for sure be buying again when this tube runs out!

As I've hit my 30's, I've started to notice my dark circles around my eyes. I read a bit about Essence Say No To Dark Circles Concealer and decided to give it a whirl.
First of all, it is cheap! It got it for $3.99 at Shopper's Drugmart, what a steal! And even though it was priced low, the quality still feels high. It comes in this little twist type pencil and is a light pink shade that you apply under your eyes to mask the dark circles.
It is quick and easy to apply. The consistency is really creamy and super easy to blend. Make sure to blend thoroughly though, so it doesn't sink in to any fine lines. It wears really well under foundation and while my circles are still there a bit, I did notice a marked improvement in their appearance. It has definitely become a part of my regular beauty routine.
I will definitely be buying the Essence Say No To Dark Circles in the future and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Oh...my...word...If I could write a love letter to ice cream, I would write it to Chapman's No Sugar Added! I try to stick to a low carb / low sugar diet and have really been missing my ice cream. Well, the heavens opened and brought me this beauty! So far, I have tried the Vanilla, Dutch Chocolate, Peanut Butter Crunch, Butterscotch Ripple, and Butter Pecan versions (yes, I love my ice cream!) My favourites so far have been the vanilla and chocolate. Overall, the flavours are amazing! Honestly, you would never know that these weren't regular ice cream. The calories are lower than traditional ice creams and you can completely work them in to diet plans as a treat. One thing to note is that they don't freeze as solid as a regular ice cream, so you can't leave the container out for too long, as it will melt quickly. I can't wait to try the rest of the flavours! It is a bit more pricey than regular ice cream, but I feel that it's totally worth it for people who have dietary restrictions like me. I am completely in love with Chapman's No Sugar Added Ice Cream! -
