When I got this kinetic sand set from Butterly to try out I gave it to my 7 year old grand daughter to play with while I got Christmas Eve dinner ready. She had played with kinetic sand at school before so she was really excited. I wasn’t sure how long she’d stay engaged with the set, but she wound up playing for over an hour mixing colours and making “treats” for everyone in the house! It reminded me of play dough but what I found really great was the cleanup. We did miss a few pieces of the sand, but unlike play dough that gets kind of sticky, it was easy to sweep up any we missed. It was nice to see the little lady use her imagination & she was all smiles while she played with it. I definitely would recommend kinetic sand to anyone with kids & I’ll likely buy more sets for my granddaughter!

My 5 year old granddaughter is a Gabby's dollhouse fan. She doesn't have any of the toys, but they have definitely been on her list. It was a very happy day when the mail arrived with a fun surprise for her. She couldn't wait to get her hands on it. And couldn't believe we #gotitfree ! There were a few pieces we had to snap together. One side was a little tough to snap into place, but it only took a couple minutes. My little lady hasn't stopped playing with it since. She has a birthday coming up & the reaction to this toy set has inspired grandma and grandpa to add to her Gabby's dollhouse collection. -

When I got notice that I was being sent a Purse Pets Trendy Treats Unicorn to review, I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to get. When the package arrived, my 5 year old granddaughter was with me & we tore it open. Her exact words were "she's adorable!" She's pretty funny & couldn't believe that grandma #gotitfree! She was really excited that she now could carry a purse just like her mom & grandma. Everytime we head out somewhere I have to wait until she gets her purse. It's a nice size so that she can put a couple small toys inside. Between the toys she can now pack & the lights and sounds she keeps herself pretty entertained even during the most boring of grown up tasks! I would suggest this as a cute fun gift for any little lady who likes unicorns! -

I'm not the greatest about keeping up with my brows & I usually have a hard time shaping them so I was a little nervous to try this out. My daughter was with me & is much better at this kind of thing so I had her use it on my brows. It was a quick fix of the brows considering I haven't had them done at all during the pandemic. I've been able to use it again myself to clean things up a bit & it's pretty simple to run, much quicker than grabbing the tweezers and totally painless. -

I do love a good lemonade in the summer time but often find the pre-mixed lemonades either much too sweet or too sour. This was a perfect balance. I took my case out to lake and used them as mixes with my vodka. I added some raspberries and it's now my fave "adult" beverage for at the lake. I promptly went to pick more up & will buy them as often as I can. I do wish these weren't just a limited time buy. I also wish they were available in a diet version, but beggars can't be choosers so I'll just grab up as much as I can while they're available. DELICIOUS! -

I was worried the gel would be sticky but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. I really liked how lightweight it was. It also seemed to absorb quickly but didn't leave me all slippery for too long. -

I got the cutest little single packets of wipes in my chickadvisor box. My kids were instantly trying to steal them, but I managed to hide them in my overnight bag to take to the lake. The water isn't the greatest out there so cleansing wipes let me clean my face every night without drying me out.
I definitely recommend these to someone who is looking for a good clean face, but needs the quick, convenience of a wipe.

I received an opportunity to try and review Vachon’s Jos Louis peanut butter bars but I was unable to find them so they asked me if I could try the Jos Louis 1/2 cakes. I remember these from back when I was a kid. They were one of my favourite treats. I thought there was no way they were as good as I remember them but was surprised when I took a bite because they were EXACTLY how I remembered them! I like how they’re available in smaller size portions so I can feel a little less guilty about having a sweet treat! They’re really affordable too which is always a bonus! -

I generally don't care for anything labelled with a mint flavour or smell but when I opened up this lip balm sphere and took a sniff I was so surprised. It reminded me of mint chip ice cream. Apparently I'm not the only one who thought it smelled divine....within a day my daughter had claimed this one as her own and left me with the strawberry one (which also smelled and tasted great!) The lip balm sphere is super hydrating and I found that I didn't need to keep reapplying every few minutes. I'll definitely be buying more of these over the winter months when I get so dried out because of all the time I spend at the rink. -
